Have you started/finished your Christmas shopping yet?

Have you still got stuff to get?

When will you start if not already?

I have only 2 more presents to get then I'm done for other people, all I have to get after that is all of my OH's things and his stocking fillers :hee:

Are you paid monthly? D: that'd be such a pain in the ass. I'm weekly but obviously on a "when I get offered hours" basis so it depends how much work I get

I don't agree with the commercialisation of a Christian festival.

For me, it's no longer a Christian festival just a nice time of the year to spend time at home with your family, eat, drink and exchange gifts

Wine and alcohol presents bought last week.
Crackers cards and pressie bags bought today.
Biscuits, chocolates and nuts etc over the last month.
Daughter has changed her list at least 4 times in the last three weeks so she can get what she likes and I will transfer the money.
Son will be going on a shopping night with his sister to buy clothes etc with his money when she comes home for Xmas.
No hassles at all..perfect.:joker:

Not started yet.

But then last year my wages from my last job were ridiculously late so I didn't have any money until the middle of December, and I did it all in one go anyway, so I'm in no rush.

Totally ignoring the fact that actually as many male members replied saying they had started as women

I like to start everything in December, I dont see this like a chore that the earlier it gets done the better as that devalues what you are doing. Plenty time to get it all done in that month and it stops the bleed and devaluation of the holiday.

My son is away working this Christmas, first Christmas ever without him, so I kind of had to shop early so that I have gifts ready for the time window in early December where I can meet him and give them to him to take with him.

It does feel a bit early though!

I'm done now apart from my oh's :flutter:

Going to enjoy sitting in the shopping centre, sipping some tea and having a nice vanilla slice watching everyone running around like headless chickens the next few weeks :hee:

If you have now completed your Christmas gift shopping why will you be in a shopping centre? Surely the idea of your plan is to spend the time now doing things that interest you like walking in the countryside, swimming or visiting old relatives?
