I don't think Sam is boring at all, she's just not the kind that feels the need to be center of attention all the time. She's been fantastic during the trials and been nice to everyone, including Martin when everyone else was slagging him off.

Sam's likely the only one left with no media training before being interviewed during the Olympics so she's just natural and hasn't gone in with any expectations wheras you can tell Adam thinks he'll win. Scarlett is very media savvy and aware of what will get her attention and Joel's nudes got 'randomly' leaked just before he entered and he's mentioned them several times.
