Do you guys think she can have a successful singing career? I just don't see it happening. I see her disappearing just like Sam Bailey.

Depends on the songs written for her / the decisions her management make. SyCo aren't great at that sort of thing. She could do a lot with her voice but I've got a horrible feeling she'll be pigeon-holed as another covers singer.

She's not the type to make hits, more for theatre or indie I'd say.

Agreed. I really hope it goes well for Saara if she wins. I don't really like what Syco did with Louisa Johnson. She has so much more to offer than shown in her single 'So Good'.

yeah Saara has more to offer for us than just be another SyCo flop :)

If she's used to her full potential she can SLAY. In UMK 16 she had an amazing song that iirc she wrote herself, and came 2nd!

I grew up going to musicals as both my parents were involved in the local operatic society running and starring in the musicals they put on each year. MOst of the time they could not get babysitters so i would go to 8 nights of the Mikado one year and 6 nights of Oklahoma the next etc and bear in mind that I had the songs and lines belted out for 4 months prior to that every bloody night

:oh:

Yeah she seems more west end star, and that's really not a bad thing, it's just not a commercial charts success, but it pays well and still has mass viewing.

Although if she gave us an album full of No Fear, then that'd be smashing as well.

She is a bjork type but foreigners dont struggle as much these days so who knows. I think she might beat the rest but my man has it in the bag and shirtswinger has a winner. Now all we have to do is dump Sharon, put the old queen out to grass and get Simon a pair of pants that fit and a shave and we are all done.

I hope so but only time would tell! Personally i see her staring in London's west end personally and being a great theatre star!

I mostly want to see her win to see her reaction  I'd be happy for her to just make it to the final and I'd love to see her star in West End shows but with the right material I do believe she could have a good career as a recording artist.

I think Emily could be marketed as someone like Melanie Martinez?
