Emily Middlemas was eliminated in week 9 semi-final of the X Factor live shows after the sing-off with Matt Terry.

Matt first performed Hurt by Christina Aguilera and then Emily performed Wings by Birdy.

In the judges' votes Simon voted for Emily to go through and Nicole, Louis and Sharon voted.....

Not really bothered, she was okay but nothing really special as a performer.

She was my second favourite from the start with 4 of Diamonds being my favourite. Simon destroyed any chance she had by giving her slow songs every single week even after Louis and Sharon complaining. Therefore they didnt save her. I dont mind who wins now. I guess Sarra is the best of the three in the final but to be honest they are not the right finalists
