X Factor Bosses Investigate "Voting System Loophole"

X Factor bosses have launched an investigation into an alleged voting system loophole that has allowed Saara Aalto fans to vote for her in her native Finland, according to reports.

Aalto, 29, is the bookies favourite to win this year’s competition after making it through to the final despite spending weeks singing for survival in the bottom two.

Her surge in popularity is reportedly a result of Finnish voters finding a way to vote on the app despite being from outside the UK.

Aalto’s semi-final performance – which saw her perform Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You and Sia’s Chandelier – was screened live on TV in Finland for the first time.

An insider told The Sun: “The app doesn’t say if you are voting from the UK so it’s hard to tell what is happening here.

An X Factor spokesman said of the claims: “Our investigations have shown there is no evidence that the vote result is being affected by this activity, though we are continuing to monitor the situation.”

It's their own fault for trying to shoehorn how she's from Finland into every comment made about her in the hopes she'll lose to Bland Terry and 5 After Miming. It won't have had much of an effect anyway, the amount of support she gets from British people is all over the internet for all to see, she doesn't need to "cheat" to get through.

I'm guessing it means that, even without the "activity", she'd still be in the same position, whether it be 1st or 2nd etc.
