One of my worst was my first for a placement I couldn't show eye contact for some reason(I can now) and stared at the table for the entire interview , safe to say it didn't go well.

The one that went the worst is ironically the one I got :joker: (Turned up late, hardly got involved in the group task and couldn't answer some of the questions in the 1-1 interview so had to 'come back' to them at the end...although it never happened because he told me I'd already got the job by then).

An interview I was forced to go to for a job that wasn't in any way a good fit for me. After managing to find the place (which was an ordeal in itself) the whole interview was just awkward and pointless. The guy had zero enthusiasm and made a point of focusing on how little experience I had (hence why I didn't ****ing apply). It was just a waste of both of our time (something we were both clearly very aware of the entire time). It's just a good job I walked there and didn't waste travel fare.

Was it for a retail job? The amount of awkward group interviews I've had is ridiculous

I went to a poem publisher and read him some of my poems and he said - what have you been smoking ? a five year old can write better poems then you - I left with a red face.

I had an interview for a retail store where the guy interviewing me was so quiet I kept asking him to repeat himself to the point where it was just awkward and he was convinced I was deaf.

My worst interview was with someone fresh out of uni who thought he was the new God of HR. After the psychometric tests and all the other crap you have to go through... at the end of the interview he asked me to tell him a joke. Sigh...

Oh, and I've been interviewed by a panel of eight people. It was like a bloody parole hearing.

No it was for a hotel job, I really hate the idea of group interviews/tasks though tbh, I'm way more comfortable talking to someone 1-1 rather than in front of people I don't know. :omgno: (It also isn't a true reflection of your abilities or if you are suitable for the job imo)

I've had two pretty bad ones.

One was for an agency and I could tell I was just invited along to fill out a list and the interviewers didn't hide the fact because they basically took the piss with silly questions. I walked out of that one.

The other was for an office position at a pharmacy place. It went well up until the bit where they expected me to identify different medicines and their uses, They got annoyed when I didn't do well and accused me of wasting THEIR time. I snapped at them and told them they need to learn how to write a good job advert because they mentioned nothing about needing medical knowledge, it was basically meant to be an admin position that had no interactions with medicine. I thanked them for wasting my time and told them they needn't bother contacting me again.
