My son is autistic, but brilliant at computer games, especially the flying ones. He's mad about military jets and WW2 planes in general.
A short while ago the Danish Air Force arranged for him to have a go in one of their military flight simulaters and it was the best day of his life.
He 'flew' an F16 jet all round Denmark and landed it again without damaging the plane. The Instructors were very impressed as even the real pilots never manage to land it without some damage, the first time anyway.
I'll always be grateful to them for making his dream possible, seeing as he will never be able to fly one of these jets for real.:wavey:

How wonderful, Jenny. What a very generous thing for them to do. I'm so glad your son had a great time.

What a wonderful thing for them to do, what a clever lad to be the only one able to do it damage free.
Days like this give us memories to cherish.
