idk if I've posted this before, and tbf I've left it pretty late considering it finishes tomorrow but I thought I'd share this gem with y'all (particularly for those with kids)

Each year (since 1960!), the students of Snyder Hall at the University of Illinois run a week long, 24/7 event where anyone from anywhere in the world can call them, request a Christmas song, and they'll sing it to you down the phone! I've done it once a year for a couple of years now and it's surprisingly cute! Shall be doing it again tomorrow :hee:

The number is (217) 332-1882, standard international call charges probably apply but I tend to download some free app to waive them, Skype might work idk? Anyway, it finishes at 11:59pm CST tonight, so 6am Thursday in the UK

Happy Holidays :cheer2:

He also said 'by the way we don't know many British songs' at the start :joker: Geraldine McQueen a popular request it seems

They kept a chart of the number of Mariah requests - in 2013 anyway. :hee:
