Yeah the condition is really sad, I feel sorry for them. :(
They can only eat 900/000 calories a day otherwise there weight increases dramatically.

Thatīs close to what i eat as i usually skip breakfast etc. and go straight for the dinner or supper. Meaning 1 meal a day + snacks.

Yeah, the sad thing is though is the can never get full because of the condition, so there always hungry. Like they eat a huge meal and not feel full at all.

I wonder would some kind of addiction therapy or similar help them? Medication?

I'm not to sure, they didn't really comment on the therapy or things that help them. A lot of the people who have it live in a specialised unit in order to control their weight. There is no cure for it.
One of the guys in it went to India because he wanted to get spiritually healed from it, but it didn't work.
Katie, the older girl in it who lived mostly independent was very good but she still gave into temptations a couple of times.
