Simple question really, which do you value more? Love my mum/dad/stepmum/half brothers ofc but those aside I can't say I have family I'm very close to, whereas I love spending time in the company of friends. Christmas time in particular feels awkward seeing those aunts and cousins you see about 10 times a year (some less). Me & a few mates are having our own xmas day on the 27th and I'm kinda more looking forwards to that tbh (this thread wasn't specifically aimed at christmas btw)

Family tbh.
I've never had any close friends really as in school friends who I've grew up with and had a close bond, I'm a recluse. Whereas I can tell my brother and Mum absolutely anything x

I'm the same, were really not a close family, as a family we literally only ever see the aunts/uncles once a year, and we never ever see our cousins. So I'm far closer to friends, as far as family is concerned, it's just my siblings and parents, the other people are kinda strangers
And so I'd say friends..

My mom over anyone, but after that I'd say friends. I don't really see my family much apart from my parents (nan & grandad occasionally, probs once every few months or something) and I'd rather spend time with friends overall (aside from my mom).
