I'm over Boxing Day.
It's always so hectic and all the good stuff is gone before you get there. I much prefer shopping online.

So depressing that people get so much on Christmas day and yet you are greedy for more one day later

Black Friday gets me in the mood for Christmas for some reason whereas I'm too tired to leave the house on Boxing Day. It's more of a relax day after Christmas for me.

This is true, also some of the things on sale may be out of their price range so it being on sale is a good thing for them.

I've never been to Boxing day sales and I don't ever intend to really either. :worry: They sound ridiculously crazy busy. It's bad enough on the run-up to Christmas tbh.

Boxing Day sales should cease to exist, I feel so sorry for people who work in retail. Why the **** do people wanna go shopping the day after Christmas?!
Eve, Day and Boxing should all be bank holidays where most places are closed. It's three days once a year ffs

I would feel sorry for retail workers because it's mad busy but they are getting paid some get double pay so it's worth it for them espically since they are losing money for not working on christmas day. People want the best sales ofc with people having vouchers and money for christmas.
Greg!

Boxing Day sales should be BANNED. Poor retail workers have to get up at like 5am one day after Crimbo just because some saddos couldn't wait an extra 24 hours to get a microwave for 20% off or whatever

Yeah I think it's a bit **** having shops open over Christmas, no reason why people can't wait until the new year sales.

how can their christmas be ruined when they already had it? most people who don't live with their parents go home on boxing day. some people do nothing on boxing day.

they can still drink and still go to bed late and have less sleep. Christmas isn't exactly ruined. they can stay up. who cares about people wanting sales its not harming anyone lol. It's giving workers more money which makes up for not earning on christmas day and people get the stuff they like.

which they did on christmas day, one of the only days that families get together and then most depart on boxing day to get home and the traditional buffet is mainly at night time when everything is closed. big deal

I woke up early and was like place 190? got some 1kg snow fairy shower gel, gift sets, stuff like that and some for friends, then went to lush in town and it was empty and so so so much stuff left. literally the most stress free shopping experience of my life :joker:

No I lazed about
Jake.
26-12-2016, 11:24 PM
Nah I don't bother. when you work in retail & then get a job where you don't have to work on days like Boxing Day anymore, you appreciate it far more. bluewater is tragic for it, you have people queuing outside Next at 6 in the morning aiming to buy tat they don't need with no doubt tired workers scurrying around.
