George Michael's vast fortune may be distributed to his celebrity godchildren in the wake of the star's unexpected death.

The legendary musician, who sadly passed away on Christmas Day aged 53, is reported to have a wealth of over £100m, according to The Mirror.

George was godparent to his cousin's two children, as well as to Martin Kemp's children Roman and Harley. George's former partner Kenny Goss is also godfather to Geri Horner's daughter Bluebell, who may also receive a portion of the Wham! frontman's estate.

I should imagine if he wrote a will he will leave some to his partner and his actual family.
If he didn't write a will then the lot go to his nearest blood relatives, unless he was married or perhaps had a civil partnership( not sure about the inheritance laws re this)
