Have just returned from a little trip out this Bank Holiday Sunday. We have driven through the Stafforshire moorlands and up into Derbyshire. The English contryside is at it's best, lush and green with more dandelions than I have seen in a long while! There is certainly nothing to beat it in any country I have ever visited. Different ...yes....but not better.

Yes we did have lunch out, but we will ignore the fact that Mr. Boris has NO imagination about such things and just say that this 'Little Chef' did not keep us waiting for hours before bringing the wrong food !

After a walk beside the river Dove we came back home again.

What a pleasant afternoon....How about you?

Have you done anything nice ?

I thought I was the only person in the world who didn't like sausages, Boris.

The only way I can eat them is burned!!

Lets see what have i been doing?

Trudging through mud with a huge backpack on my back sleeping very little on hard ground with 4 people in a 2 man tent. Walking. Walking. Walking. Eating squashed sandwiches and sausages that taste like paraffin...

Yeh having a good time.

That sounds like my Duke of Edinburguh expedition

My day has consisted of sitting in front of my pc for 10+ hours working on the TiBB site - whilst watching the snooker final too (my tv is on my PC desk, about 6 inches away from each other!)

Nice one Boris!! I come from Derbyshire and I have to say it's one of the nicest places in the world. :hello::hello:

We went relative visiting yesterday so today is being spent catching up on household chores and DIY! But we do have "Die another day" to watch tonight as a reward for all our hard work!
