I'll probably be doing some last minute past papers. If I do watch one I'll watch The Voice.

I watched most of both and preferred Let It Shine, I thought the star scoring thing was a cool little twist on the 'three yeses' trope of other shows. Not sure I'll be keeping up with it, but we'll see

As for The Voice...I mean, it was marginally better than it was on the BBC? I liked that the chairs don't turn around if no one presses (though it should be expanded so if you don't press, you don't turn at all) so we aren't subjected to five minutes of 'you're amazing but you're just not for me', but idk, again this show just doesn't do anything for me :shrug: I just get tired of the sycophancy and once you're over the novelty of the Blinds, the rest of the format sucks. I might dip in again when they're over to see if they've tweaked anything but I can't see this sustaining my interest. I do think it was a better produced, slicker show than previously though

Also, why have ITV put the Voice out at 9? Is it to avoid Let It Shine? Stupid to have them both on the same day tbh

My mum watched both while I did my past papers at the computer, I caught glimpses of both and both were absolutely gross as I predicted. From what I saw, Let It Shine was ever so slightly better but that was ****e.
