Customer brands shopping in pyjamas 'disgusting' and Tesco responds

Calls have been made to ban pyjamas from supermarkets after a social media storm - but “pyjama shaming” is nothing new on Merseyside.

One Merseyside resident has been determined to put a stop to the practice, setting up a Facebook page showing pictures of people out and about in pyjamas.

The Spotted Kirkby creator, who has remained anonymous, created the page in 2013, and has since claimed that the number of people in Kirkby wearing their night clothes in the day has dropped.

The debate was re-ignited this week, after two women were snapped wearing pyjamas in a Tesco store.

Unbelievable isn't it.

Of course there is no excuse for it. Putting a pair of trousers on takes seconds.

As does a jumper.

Wearing pyjamas out of your house is gross, like i wouldn't even take my bins out in then... But who the **** gets so worked up about it that they take a picture and demand that supermarkets get dress codes? Kind of sad if you ask me.

On the one hand, lazy Chavs, on the other, showing off their new Xmas PJ's.
It is beyond me why anyone want to sit around in their night attire all day, unless they are on the fame and ready for callers.:joker:

I never leave the house unless I'm fully dressed :hmph: I just don't see the point in caring about the fact that some random strangers wear their pyjamas to Tesco.

Wearing nightwear is one thing. Looking literally like u rolled out of bed with bedhead, smudged makeup, slippers and general smelliness in a place where you buy food. :yuk:

New to me...

It's really silly all this really. Picking on people who want to wear something else and comfortable is actually ridiculous and childish, maybe we should all wear uniforms to go shopping since we obviously can't allow people to wear whatever they'd like because it frustrates some peoples tiny minds

There's a reason they're called bed clothes. :nono:

Would you like shopping for your veg a behind a hairy arsed man in a swimming costume? :oh:

But that's actually a point- people are fine when people walk around with their hairy bellies hanging out in the summer but when people wear pajamas it's suddenly a crime?

also do you want middle aged men in pjs with their fetid cocks falling out of their pj gussets as they bend down to get a pukka pie off the shelf?

I don't care if I appear a snob, but I don't wish to be walking around a shop with lazy gits who can't be bothered to get dressed to go shopping, they can do an online shop if they want to stay in nightwear. Trouble is with those who do it, is they do it on school runs also, what next going out for an evening meal in night clothes or the cinema or on planes and so on ......

My neighbour is taking driving lessons, however, she constantly goes off in her car in her nightwear and slippers, twice in thick fog, no learner plates on car, with her four under sixes in there and no baby seat that I noticed.

Classist nonsense. People should be allowed to walk around naked for all I care, let alone wear pyjamas.

Live and let live and stop concerning yourselves with something as irrelevant as this.

I'm not. I've been known to have a bilious attack when out shopping.

As much as I think shopping in your pajamas is pretty silly, whoever was bothered enough to take a picture (lol not creepy at all) and post a self righteous "OUTRAGED!!" rant online is an absolute prick. Imagine being so deranged that you get home and you're still fixated on what someone at the supermarket was wearing. :umm2:

Ah yes I forgot, it's only men who are a danger to children!

All men for that matter.

A surprising view for a poster who has recently agreed that straight white men are being subjugated.

Wishful thinking or?

if or when a cock falls out, we'll discuss it. I cant imagine it will be soon or ever cos which men wear pyjamas really?

This is such a non-story to me. People must be so easily offended nowadays.
