Ratings have been poor for a winter CBB

Below are some of the examples of what it's been getting. Winter CBB normally get around 2/3 million viewers but it doesn't really get past 2 million. this is quite shocking (this season is being paid dust)

celebrity big brother launched with 2.32 million viewers last night, down 500k on last january and 1 million down on 2015 and down on the summer cbb launch of 2.36m.

Celebrity big brother (10.30pm): 1.48m (9.6%)
celebrity big brother (9pm): 1.44m (6.9%)
lip sync battle uk: 1.28m (7.0%)

Celebrity big brother: 1.00m (4.7%)

But also, I dont care for ratings much, but isnt a year on year decrease normal for every channel and every show? People just prefer Netflix, Amazon and YouTube nowadays right? Ratings everywhere are just lower in general, the numbers arent there anymore, right?

two years ago we had katie hopkins, perez hilton, katie price, michelle visage... not that they're a listers but they're very famous names among the type of celebrities that go on shows like this. the names are getting more and more obscure with each season.

There isn't a lack of celebs to choose from it frustrates me so much when people say they've run out of celebs :joker: I can think of literally dozens of celebs that are typical CBB housemates.

In all seriousness I don't think the ratings are that great, but they're not DISATROUS as the tweet claims. Pretty sure it was up against Sherlock last night which is one of the biggest shows in the UK, also we don't know the +1 figures or the catch-up figures either. And cbb still gets like triple the ratings of most other channel 5 shows.

Lots of people said Bear winning was the final straw and I think they followed through with the threats.

One of my mums friends said she wouldn't watch after Bear won and she hasn't watched this year :worry:

I'll probably be hated for saying this but maybe people dont want to watch CBB UK vs USA 2, I mean the line-up for IAC 2016 was perfect and a million times better compared to the CBB19 cast. So much so that the ratings for IAC 2016 were the best since 2013 and fourth best overall since 2002.

One or two Americans is ok but dont think many of us Brits can be bothered watching a house full of Americans AGAIN.
