ONLY a few weeks back AMY WINEHOUSE claimed the mysterious scratch marks on her arms were down to an unfortunate collision with a hedge.

But I reckon there is more to this story than just a UDI (Unidentified Drinking Injury).

The singer was snapped at the SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas, sporting raw gouge marks on her forearm that to me looked fresh and painful.

I can reveal that pictures from a recent fashion shoot had to be scrapped and the publicity campaign cancelled because similar marks were so prominent.

Amy has been going to great lengths to cover up when she has been out and about near her North London home.

I think it’s time for her to come clean, for her own good.

Don't people self harm as some sort of relief for their problems, or to punish themselves?

Yeah I mean in most cases its an anger thing I think..People do it when they are mad, Upset, depressed....And sometimes for attention.
But in anycase, Its still sad, She needs to get help.

She definitely does. But then why does she go off showing this to the whole world? Wouldn't you try to cover it up?

Yeah..I think this may be an attention seeking case..Or a cry for help. But whatever the case..she needs help, and her family and friends after seeing the pictures should make sure she gets it.

I mean I don't mind admitting that when me and my ex split after 3 years. I cut myself, Buy I covered them up and still do now, because they have left scars..I did it because I was angry, upset and at the point I did it I did want to die..Sounds pathetic Iknow..But I saw a specialist and they sorted me right out

God yeah I'm fine now! Im happier then I have ever been. But I'm not ashamed of what I did, I mean you learn from your mistakes I guess.

Hasn't Amy had a drug and alcohol addiction? Maybe it's something to do with that?

Thanks Girth..That was a bad time in my life. But worse things happen to better people I say :hug:
