Loved Austin in his last series...loathed James...but complete turnaround in my opinion of both. James was fairly composed considering he was being kicked at by the toddler. As for James wife...she needs no sympathy..having watched her in the jungle, I reckon she wears a pair of trousers just as well as James. Strong woman...which says a lot about James actually....as opposed to Austin laying into women for the sheer hell of it.

He made himself look like a prize tit. He prides himself on winding people up but he completely lost it at the end. Austin gave as good as he got, so I fail to see how James "won" anything.
James is also a 38 year old man who should know better than provoking a young man in his 20's. It's almost as if he's trying to prove he's still a match for the young-uns but he's nothing but an old goat who's long past his sell by date. "Brad pitt of the dancefloor". Pff... please. Curious as to why James being in his late thirties is a no go for provocation of a man in his twenties. Who himself has no issue with provoking a woman in her forties? Neither James or Austin are without fault when it comes to provocation. Both use it as a weapon for airtime. :conf:

James was fabulous lol! Agree he should have shut up just a minute earlier, and yeah he was wound up, but he made Austin look like a stroppy teenager/toddler.
Austin needs to stay away from the booze lol!
James - best moment of the series - Austin saying something like 'you could at least show some sympathy' and James pretending to rub crying eyes. OMG how Austin didn't slap him there and then, I don't know, but OMG James, THANK YOU! Was TV gold.

Resorting to childish insults is not a sign of someone that is 'measured, pointed and controlled'. The dancer dig Austin aimed at him stung, if i was Austin i'd continue down that path if he intends to wind James up.
Barring that incident James has been in control.

James has said many times he is well used to the dancer digs so I don't think one coming from baby Austin fazed him at all. I think getting kicked by Austin was more likely to have angered him given the fact he knew he couldn't punch him in the gob without being thrown out.

I disagree, thought the timing of the comment and delivery was spot on, it will not have gone unnoticed by James that Nicola cracks up at that point also. Watch the footage back, James is still calm and composed when Austin is kicking him, it's only after the dancer digs that he loses it a little.
He may have heard all the Billy Elliot and dancer digs before but they still evidently strike a raw nerve.

I mean, there arent many people in the thread who watched it this way, and there are lots who watched it the other way? Maybe ask yourself why this is? Perhaps your sig has something to do with it.. I doubt Austin's childish mockery about being a dancer bothered James. He didn't even react to that and seemed to get more annoyed later after Austin mocked Coleen about lying there 'in your single bed'. Very nasty.

It's pretty obvious.
Dancing, particularly ballet, has for a large proportion of time been deemed as an activity that women should take up due to it's light and graceful nature i would imagine. As a result, it would likely have been considered to be emasculating for men.
Times have changed but the stigma is still there for male dancers, hence why James was rattled when he was making out he was a 'big boy' and Austin brought him right back down with the 'dancer' jibe.
Nancy.

Austin acts like many 28 year olds do, and who's bypassing his behaviour? I haven't been asked about it but as it happens, I didn't particularly enjoy seeing him put his finger up James arse, no.
His kick didn't have any real force behind it, so I don't see how it can be viewed as anything but playful. We've seen other housemates do questionable things in the past, so why are BB fans outraged and offended now? Oh yes, because they don't like Austin. I hate defending someone with that sorry old excuse of them being drunk, but that's exactly what he was...drunk. If James had kicked Austin you'd be loving it and singing from the mountains like Julie bloody Andrews.

Because that's what Austin referred to him as. You've answered your question in the second paragraph. and James didn't really start getting nasty until Austin mentioned the Billy Elliot thing. A perfect example that he can dish it out but can't take it.
As for Coleen Nolan...who really cares about that besides the petty anti Austin brigade?

Dancing, particularly ballet, has for a large proportion of time been deemed as an activity that women should take up due to it's light and graceful nature i would imagine. As a result, it would likely have been considered to be emasculating for men.
Times have changed but the stigma is still there for male dancers, hence why James was rattled when he was making out he was a 'big boy' and Austin brought him right back down with the 'dancer' jibe.
I think you need to re - watch because James didn't even react to the dancer jibe, he seemed to get angrier later....and it's obvious that James is a 'big boy' who can take care of himself anyway...and I doubt the mouthy immature Austin trying to 'bring him back down' would bother James in the slightest, he's heard it all before from similar idiots.

He is not, Gary didn't invite confrontation like Austin is, Austin is treating Stacy like James with Gary Busey, James looks like he has learned lessons from his time in the house, Austin seems to have forgotten anything he learned.
Gary never invited confrontation...people were impatient and lacked understanding...it didn't stop JJ from being patronising and bullying. James Jordan hasn't learnt anything...his aggressive talk and put downs were disgusting and unnecessary.
I find Austin just argumentative.. James takes it to a different level...the things HE said last night..the antagonisation the personal put downs are far worse than anything Austin has said.
Just because JJ has been reasonably nice in the first few days doesn't mean he is a better person...he was waiting for his first victim..now he has found him you will see all those nasty traits appear...like they did last night.

People react differently. If someone mocks or says something nasty to me, I don't react immediately, I think about it in disbelief for a good few minutes before reacting. Things like that tend to make me seethe with anger. Maybe that's how he reacted.

I agree. Austin can't function without a more mature buddy to babysit him. Maybe this CBB will help him grow up if he sticks it out.

:joker: Gary has spent the last 10 years on various reality shows 'not inviting confrontation' in his own very subtle way that he made sure did just that. He was brilliant though and a worthy winner. :hee:

maybe he was reacting to having been sexually assault after the shock had worn off :hee:

 Nah. He's a dancer, so i'm sure he's coped with much worse than a finger between his arse cheeks. :joker:

James is an intelligent guy who by and large seems calm and collected, resorting to petty insults suggests he was annoyed to me, if you disagree then fair enough.
Just to clarify, i'm not particularly a fan of either, just giving my objective point of view. Austin quite clearly has issues of some kind or other that leads him to behave erratically, but JJ is just a bellend that targets individuals as he enjoys the humiliation.

If it was a gameplan, it was the best gameplan there has been on the show really. I remember feeling so sorry for him but also acknowledging that he must be a pain in the arse to live with
Also deserved to win for this moment alone tbh

:joker: Loved that.
He was the best game player ever, bar none. He had plenty of practise on other shows of how to wind everyone up and get the viewers on side. Doddery old man my foot, he was exactly the same on the usa Apprentice but sharp as a needle when he needed to impress The Donald! :joker:

Can't stop laughing at James Jordan there finally losing his **** and revealing his true colours. It's hilarious how he was laughing at Austin for losing his temper but Austin was playing him like a fiddle at the end. So good to see the tormentor being tormented. LOVE IT.
Literally all of what you said is what Austin did...

I think people will be very quick to go back to hating JJ as soon as he crosses the line, it will be particularly easy for me anyway, Ive always despised him. But everyones free for a second chance, and hes been witty, rational and ready to stick up for others when he saw them get bullied, and I like him now because of this. He might not be a better person, but theres little use in hypothetically guessing that hes the same dick on the inside.. Wait until he presents himself as a dick so we can make conclusions instead of theories.
Basically the opposite to everything I've said above is the story of Austin, he too, might swing it round again. Until he does though, hes a horrid **** who has overstepped the mark at least ten too many times.
