is anyone surprised by this? I know it's been a few days but they seem like the type to dominate air time but they hardly get shown at all.

The trouble with them is that they don't interact much with the others...they are two children who play with each other whilst the 'adults' do their own thing.
They play pranks like children..they build dens like children...they sing in front of the mirror like children. They are in a world of their own.
I actually quite like them...they are harmless.

Their season's cast was overall very dull, this time they have bigger personalities to compete with

Totally out of their depth this year, far too many in to shut them straight down,so they are not risking it

5 yrs too late. they are now no longer relevant or interesting and at 25 they have grown out of high jinks. they are not even doing their hair.

I'm still laughing at orange-peel-gate when Nicola told off the twins for 'throwing food on the floor' when it fact it was being thrown on the table.
:D :p

They have too many strong characters this series for Spiedi to be relevant ,a few of them would eat them up and spit them out,and they know it, so have decided to split themselves up and melt into the background

Neither Jedward or Speidi are being show as much as last time, and the reason for it is because not a lot happened in their series last time. There is more to show in this series because it is better.
If you set off a small set of fireworks to your left everyone will stand and watch them. But if halfway through a bigger set of fireworks are set off to your right then the small set will be ignored.

I think they could clash if an issue that they have opposing opinions on was to come up, but yeah, in general I think there's a strange acknowledgement of similarity / mutual respect there.

Spencer threw James J under the bus in airgate, he did it with a smile though so James didn't really take offence, Spedi have definitely studied how to win and coasting along will do them no harm

He did that because he knew it would press Austin's buttons even more... James J probably knows that too.
