:umm2:

Just watched Austin fingering James' arsehole. How is more not being made of this? It would be different if they were friends having a laugh but they're not... it was an aggressive act. I'm essentially a pacifist when it comes to most aggression, I'll put up with a hell of a lot and walk away, it's the sensible and mature thing to do... but I swear if a guy I had been arguing with all day was laughing and trying to jam his finger up my arse I would flip my **** :nono:. They'd have been dealing with an "incident" :joker:

When TF did that happen?! Also why would they show that?

Unless by asshole you mean james' mouth, the two are often confused.

I saw it and agree it was well out of order, but i do think you are exaggerating a tad, he didn't "Jam it up his arse" but he did put his finger "near" his backside, Im sure if it made contact JJ would have reacted

The way I seen it Austin held up his finger and poked James in the butt crack area. I thought 'omg, James don't punch him, you'll get thrown out' and thank goodness he controlled himself even though Austin then started kicking out at him...

I didn't see the fingering but he did kick him when he was bending over after the shoes in the bed incident. He deserves a warning for that. It wasn't playful. If there was fingering then that is totally out of order and James J should complain to BB.

I have to wonder if they spoke to James about it and he's told them he's not arsed ( :hehe: ) / doesn't want anything to be done about it. But I do think it's true that if it had been done to a girl, it would have been an ejection no questions asked.

Well, lets wait to see if he's pulled up on it. Like others have said the difference of whether he's straight away hauled into the Diaryroom or not could be the James reaction or non reaction to it as well

This is true but then, IIRC, a few civvy seasons ago, Hazel had said that she didn't want Daley to be ejected but they did anyway. There have been one or two verbal incidents (racism, usually) where this has been the case, too... to supposedly offended housemate has been gutted when the "offender" is kicked.

Not that it was the same sort of situation as either, but just as an example that they don't necessarily bother all that much about the HM's opinions when choosing whether or not to remove someone.

Well it definitely wasn't an ejection as Austin was on LF last night
I tend to be against warnings in BB unless absolutely necessary so I don't think Austin should be warned if James is ok with it. BUT he should be 'spoken to' I think. But again, if it had been a girl he (or any person) did that to they would have been out on their backside whether the girl complained or not.

I would imagine people are just putting themselves in that situation and saying they would not be happy about it? It's an invasion of someones personal space and boundaries. Just because james didn't shout for BB to intervene doesn't mean he doesn't have a problem with it, no doubt if he had then people would be saying he's milking it/playing the victim etc etc

1) It didn't happen at all. So I presented proof in the form of your post with screengrabs then
2) The screenshots were too dark to see anything. When pointed out that wa sa lod of bollocks and you could clearly see it changed to
3) Austin was drunk and did it by mistake. To which I stated that he held his finger up and smirked before doing it so he clearly did know. So then it was
4) Silence.

I just don't understand how so many people missed it on the first viewing :joker:. He clearly gestures to Nicola that he's going to do it before he does, I was like "Err surely he's not actually going to..." so I guess I was watching to see if he actually went through with it... so to speak...

This thread furthers Austin into Bottom 10 housemate territory for me http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2016/01/19/23/305A895500000578-0-image-m-4_1453244824572.jpg

My granddaughter had a lesson in school when she was 6 ,and was told the "Private areas" you should never be touched " where Austin touched James is one of those areas

Oh yes, my sister's kids are around the same age and they've been talking about it in school too. I know kids need to report such things but I can't help but be sad that they're being educated about such things and their innocence is being lost. When I was a kid I was playing hopscotch and dancing around with skipping ropes. I never even knew the correct named for our private parts until I was around 10 or 11.

Like, honestly. You dont have to support your favourtie housemate through EVERYTHING.
He can do awful stuff and still be your favourite, sure.. But when you downplay awful stuff and pass it off as anything else, it just weakens any credibility

Why are you following me around like a bad smell? I don't support my favorite housemates through EVERYTHING. If they've done something I don't agree with, I will admit it. I even said said it was wrong of him to touch James's arse-cheeks earlier. Bloody hell, what more do you want?

I never noticed this. He should be warned, James clearly didn't take it as a joke and the two had been arguing before so it wasn't friendly imo

I don't really think there are many situations even between friends that an arse stab would be appreciated.

I am ever so tempted to try this on one of my best mates next time we are out, just to gouge reaction.

I missed this when I watched the ep but just watched the clip and yeah he was gross. It was weird how he went about it beforehand too, holding his finger up to Nicola (I think it was her?) as if to say "look what I'm about to do *teehee*"... very odd person. I'm surprised James didn't flip out at him in all honesty.

Nancy lovie, I was a big Austin fan right up until he started with the fake tears crap, that does my head in but for what its worth, if I am honest, I still like the guy and he should be working with james J to kill off Speidi.

I am beginning to feel sorry for you because so many are giving you a hard time, including me, but on the other hand, its admirable that you support your fav through thick and thin so dont worry about me, im just a grump old bugger that loves to have a bitch now and again.

All Austin has to do to get into my good books is ditch the fake emotional outbursts, they drive me nuts. AS FOR YOU, i STILL LOVE YOU AND RESPECT YOUR VIEWS. XXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Hi Sam.
I very much respect and appreciate you coming in and saying that to me. I apologise for my comments....but please take no notice of me. I'm a miserable cow at the best of times and need a good swift kick up the backside. lol :joker: When I made those comments, I just felt as if I was being attacked, questioned and was tired of having to explain myself on all corners of this forum - it all got a bit much. I need to learn to stop being so touchy and be more respectful of people's views. Then again, i'm not entirely convinced some people aren't using Austin as an excuse to have a go at me after the disagreements I had with them last year. Maybe i'm wrong but it did cross my mind quite a few times.
I don't have anything against you personally, I like you. In fact, I have enjoyed reading your posts in the past and find you a great poster. I would love it if we could wipe the slate clean and start afresh. Keep posting. xxxxxxxxxxxx :hee:

I still think the "don't voice your discomfort, it's not ejectable" applies in BB's logic. Austin was the same with JH but they were mates. I think it was very ballsy for him to do it to JJ, i thought JJ would punch him.

BUT like i said, had JJ said it was innapropriate, Austin would have at least got a warning.

Aaron BB16 didn't get removed until Joel complained. Daley didn't get spoken to until Hazel said what she did in the DR.

Whilst I dont agree with what went down, Im glad they let it ride because this whole PC crap and nit picking politically sensitive issues is killing the show. In Australia it took thousands of years to recognise Aborigines rights, In the states the indigenous native people have been battling for hundreds of years and here in the uk PC issues have changed in a matter of a tea break when paralleled with other cultures. Britain really is taking things way too seriously and something needs to be done before we turn into the worlds whingers. TV programmes like BB should be immune from some issues and left to get on with it. Everyone knows its a controvertial show yet the silliest issues reign supreme when feelings are hurt. No likey, no looky. End of. Period. If you cant stomach conflict or the breaking of PC rules, watch Discovery and leave our programme alone.

Personally I don't think it should really matter whether or not James reacted or complained about it. If someone is attacked for example, is the attacker justified in doing it if the victim doesn't complain? Or if someone commits a robbery, is it ok that they did it if the person who was robbed doesn't report it? They're still crimes and the people responsible are still just as bad for committing them. (I'm not trying to say that what Austin did was as serious as those things btw - I don't, I'm just highlighting my point that I don't think the act itself should be judged acceptable just because the 'victim' doesn't do anything about it.)
