The PS3 is generally discontinued now, I mean, it did come out in 2005, lol.
Not only that but the PS4 isn't even new any more, it's at least mid-cycle... You can easily pick up a 2nd hand original PS4 with games for under £150 now. PS3 has had its day, it's just not profitable for them to spend resources on making PS3 versions of most games. Especially because it's not just a matter of scaling back settings... PS3 had that weird custom chip architecture so it needs loads of coding work.

I still use my PS3, but only for Netflix and Fifa. If I was a bigger 'gamer' then i'd definitely upgrade to a PS4. There's not much point doing that though for just one game lol.

Although, saying that, I have played Fifa 17 on the PS4 and it's 10x better than the PS3 version :bawling:
