Really pathetic.
The most dull person in there Coleen gets not a single vote.

So if Jedward voted for Jamie it would be a 3 way tie what would have happened then  I do agree with the point made about voting to save and then evicting someone, it was a poorly thought out twist, glad I don't vote, such a waste of money

The prods thought they were getting a big vote for a dullard but they didnt count on these idiots voting tactically. This is what they didnt say the winner would be evicted. If they had have said that, Speidi would be toast. Total backfire and lame twist. Id love to be a fly on the wall of the shows coffee morning today, lol. What a bunch of idiots they now look.

Surprised no one picked Speidi. Not even arch nemesis Austin

They used the vote to settle scores and be vindictive. Speidi are sleeping so not really annoying anyone yet.

Austin hates them.

At least Austin has a reason to actually hate them now, they were part of the reason he went. Bahaha :hehe:

I can't see how anyone voted Jedward, they are lively and certainly not boring!
Colleen and Bianca are the most boring housemates, followed closely by Jamie, Calum and Jasmine with their fake showmance threesome and talentless, desperate Nicola. It's us who are meant to be entertained, it's us who should decide.

He was the most one-dimensional, so in that respect, he was the most dull. Thhere was no depth to his character at all.

Even if we were going to use that definition (which we aren't), then Jedward are far more one dimensional than he is

By his own friends as well:joker: like Austins eviction it would have been great tv

No loss though, the 3 newbies seem fun and better so Austin who?

Well they got the next most votes, as did James C and Calum who are also pretty 1D. I'd say the definition fits very well. (Austin was multitudes more one dimensional in this series alone, if you judge him on his other series too, he scrapes out of the bottom).

Most votes were not for the Dullest but the HM they least liked and one they didn't mind upsetting. No doubt they thought they were going to go through a tough time rather than being evicted.

Though Jamie voting Calum was no doubt for a laugh he nearly cost him his place in the house....now that would have been hysterical if it had happened.....

I thought last nights eviction of Austin was a disgrace. It was rushed, ill thought out and frankly so, so wrong on many levels. Everyone knows Austin was NOT the dullest Housemate. There are one or two others who deserve that title not least James C and Coleen. To add insult to injury Austin is the only HM I can recall who didn’t even get attention from the rest of the House when he departed and then he got no ‘Best Bits’! SHAMEFUL!

Big Brother must find a way of putting him back in, just as they did with that overindulged Nikki Graham!

Have watched Big Brother since the beginning but am now considering not bothering at all. Sorry Producers but you screwed up BIG TIME!:fist::fist::fist:

I think the people inside the house 24/7 have more accurate judgement than we do seeing about an hour a day :3

The very fact several housemates remarked that he was a totally different person when drunk than during the day kind of dispels the idea that he was one dimensional. It's the very opposite actually

He's tedious and one note and his eviction is one of the best of all time.

Not when Alex and Sam exist

I think the people inside the house 24/7 have more accurate judgement than we do seeing about an hour a day :3

Yeah I'd be pretty bored of living with him and would be more than happy to bend the requirements of the vote to incorporate that fact

So would I if I were living with him, but that still doesn't change the fact that they were obviously voting for who they dislike as opposed to who's objectively speaking the 'dullest'

Macie Lightfoot
14-01-2017, 03:02 PM
Dull isn't objective though! The house, who actually knows him, believes he is the dullest and voted accordingly.

'Dull' can and is quite easily translated as 'I don't like them and find them annoying'. That's not the same thing

This is a futile argument though because had it been Stacy evicted nobody on this forum would be agreeing she was dull, so

Wonder what would've happened had it been a tie.

Depending on who the tie was between, I would assume the rest of the housemates would have to vote between the two of them.

That's at least how it is in Survivor.

Though tbh had Austin tied with James C or Calum who also had two votes, he probably still would've been out

Nobody would be happy if someone they liked was evicted so I'm not sure what your point is. Besides, aren't you someone who wants the show to get rid of the public vote and go to house votes anyway? This should've been the perfect scenario for you.

My point is that I don't know why people are trying to tell me that Austin is dull and that I'm wrong (when as you said, it's a matter of opinion) when if it were someone that was liked (i.e. Stacy) this forum would quite rightly not agree she was dull. It's a pointless discussion riddled with hypocrisy

And I am (like I said in another thread I don't oppose non public votes as a matter of principle), but as I've said before I'd like that to operate under a proper, consistent format, not these embarrassing twists concocted hours before the live show

James C was such a obvious choice to get rid of but it was shockingly Austin which was fantastic tv and something you didn't expect at first. maybe they should have said vote for someone you dislike the most but we are not there 24/7 and the housemates know Austin the most so if they think he's dull then he's dull to them. (two of his votes were about him wearing glasses and being in bed, that is dull) this twist backfired on them is also perfect. but the newbies seem promising so Austin won't be such a loss anyway.

Actually, Danielle's was the only one I was upset about, and it was only because BB15 was a **** series filled with human garbage and she was one of the only people I enjoyed. I wasn't really fussed about Sam's eviction since I don't really care about her at all -- I think it's remarkably insensitive to literally put price tags on people and sell their HM status to the house, but again, it was Sam Kay. How much could one care? And for this twist, I don't think I commented on it at all before the show so.

I've never been a Big Brother purist by any means and I don't really get too worked up about twists or anything like that. As long as the end result leaves me entertained, and this one certainly did, I really don't care.

He wasn't the dullest but he was annoying me this series so I'm not too bothered. I'd rather we lost him (even if it wasn't the fairest of evictions) than Stacy, a better HM, via the public vote.

James J said he was dull and lay on his bed all day when they argued - it's not impossible Jedward, Speidi and Jedward agreed.

Another point. We see about 45 mins tops of highlights. How do we know that Cosmo doesn't have really interesting convos with them all day while Austin mopes around in bed crying all day and only perks up at night after a drink? We don't see it from the hm's perspective.Austin could be boring af when he's not rowing with women.
