Liked him up to last night, but by God what a coward he is, he stood back and let a 74 yr old woman get attacked by a crowd of hm8s and never said a word, I thought he was the calming one in there, the one everyone would listen to ,and he could have stopped the attack on Kim in minutes, he chose not too ,not as good a man as I thought he was

He's as much a part of the ganghanded crew as the others tbh (as much as I like him)

Yes, I have to agree. JC will have lost a lot of supporters after last night. I thought he would have stood up and said something, but no. Very disappointed.

I actually think getting involved would have been a really bad move. He's a gentle soul IMO and would either have just been totally ignored, or would have made things even worse.

I thought you hated people getting involved in things when it doesn't concern them? you say that's one of the reasons you don't like Nicola, so why would James getting involved be any different?
Also, Kim wasn't getting 'attacked' she was doing the attacking.

Yes, I'm a bit disappointed with him too...and if he had done it, he would have really been assured of the win I think, seeing he's the fave with the bookies.

Haven't watched the las episode yet, but Kim doesn't "get attacked" for nothing, it's usually starts with her attacking others.
If she can't take an argument, she shouldn't start them either (and oh boy, doesn't she love igniting them).

So he chose to sit back and let Kim get attacked as she did ? he's the calming influence in there, he could have stopped it in a minute, he chose to ignore it, I was disgusted in him as much as the ones doing the attacking

I had to laugh at Nicole in the DR saying she hoped sticking up for her wouldn't make Jamie look bad :hehe:

He's frustrated in there. I'm not making excuses.

I won't disagree that Nicola deliberately and spitefully tries to get at Kim (the worst IMO was when Kim and Spencer were having a joke around, one of Kim's only nice moments, and Nicola deliberately sabotaged it)... but, let's not pretend that Kim is some lovely nice old lady either. Still, it's nothing to do with any of the other housemates. The best thing any of them (including James C) can do is stay as far away from it as possible.

That was very telling. She's playing a game alright. James J was saying too that he knew very little about Jamie when he went in but Kim knew about his cheating and how many kids he had etc so must have done her research.

I'll be watching it tonight when I get back from work, but If it's the same as "what? what? what?" Nicola vs Kim, I believe Nicola didn't start this one either.
Kim goes 0 to 100 in a split if a second for people just blinking, so it wouldn't surprise me if Nicola wasn't THAT provoking her.

The difference IS, unlike Nicole, James C isn't at the center of most arguments in there. Most of the hm's agree that he's a calming influence, so he could've calmed the situation, rather than throwing petrol on it like Nicole does. She only get's involved because she enjoys it and likes to keep it going. She even tries to turn playful banter into blazing arguments. IE: "Kim, have you told them how much you dislike them"?
She's nothing but a nasty little sh!t stirrier who's desperate to prove to the public that she's a changed woman (after her last stint on bb), but she's failing miserably. Thank **** there's enough intelligent people out there with common sense and integrity to see through her bullsh!t who aren't supporting her.
and since when is trying to get to the bottom of an argument attacking someone? She knew Stacy and Jessica's argument was about her and Nicole, but Stacy was too much of a two faced coward to tell her...hence Mother bunny jumping in and stirring the pot again.

I'm inclined to agree with you on this. I've lost a little respect for him because he just doesn't want to get involved. There is coasting tot he final and then there is being oblivious to your surroundings. He is respected by others (though they still all nom him ) and he could have helped calm that situation.
I also lost respect for him by refusing to wear the costume for the task. They can all bathe in cold water as long as I don't have to wear lycra. Spoiled brat of a man.

I think James C was wise to stay out of it. He knows that BB is watching and wouldn't let any physical harm come to her. I also suspect that he doesn't like Kim much. We haven't seen much of it but he seems to have made friends in the house and he said Kim was wrong to say that no-one liked anyone else (or words to that effect) in the house.
I do feel that Kim is the type to turn on people who are trying to help her and that's why Ithink he did the right thing in staying out of it.

Why are you so obsessed with men having to be the ones that defend people, or step in to resolve conflict? that isn't the primary purpose of every man's existence
More to the point, why would you even want him to dissolve what was a hysterical argument? I mean it'd be great TV if he actually got involved for once, but he isn't obliged to in any way, shape or form

This is what I dont get in general there is this image of JC which most people have which is not coming across to me. I was going to say about the costume thing mainly, surely hes seen the programme before and understands what they ask of housemates and tbh its one of the least taxing tasks they asked of housemates, love jedwards whole reaction to it they are having a blast with it!

This and everything else you said Nancy. I would have more respect for nicola if she was as honest to kims face as she was behind her back bitching to james j. Her whole "you have made nice people cry in here" she cant be talking about herself surely. BE A WOMAN AND PICK A SIDE NICOLA! Dont talk the talk if you're not gonna walk the walk. As much as i do think kim oversteps the line at times nicola isnt some innocent bystanding housemate like people are making out, she is stirring the pot (like when she said to stacy not to tell kim about the argument in front of kim because "she doesnt need to know" like kim wasnt there or needs to be instructed on what she can and cant hear)
Why are you so obsessed with men having to be the ones that defend people, or step in to resolve conflict? that isn't the primary purpose of every man's existence
