20 votes against a forum member

I don't know whether or not, this is the right place to post this topic? But it is serious, so I think it is the place.

I actually am on here to defend the three girls, Jade Goody, Danielle Lloyd & Jo O'Meara.

But most of all, it is about unfairness, corruption and greed which exists in every part of January's situation surrounding CBB Jan.

There is a lot of unfairness in the world today and if you look at my 500+ posts within the Celebrity Big Brother section, you can see how well I fight their corner.

Many forum members have gone really crazy! As they are still so angry about how Shilpa got treated in the BB house, but I know there is a lot more to talk about and not everything you see in that edited footage, is exactly how these three girls are generally in their lives.

All three have a life outside of this and there was real unfairness and editors from Endemol should have known better.

Anyway, we have debated it to death and sadly, the Newspapers will keep bringing up new articles and also, these debates will keep going, on & on & on & on.

Getting back to the part where "Forum Members" have been going crazy and in fact, really angry and perhaps wishing that I would post on another forum and leave this forum and leave you to debate without me?

So, I decided to put it to a vote!

If 20 forum members Vote myself to go away and leave the forum for good, then I might? or either, drastically reduce my posting to one post a day.

But, there is a catch.

If 20 say (Yes) to me going and (5) or anything similar say that they want me to stay, then that doesn't make a clear majority.

I think you understand what I am saying.

I am sure that this has never been done before? So it will be very interesting.

This vote is open to the Mods & Admins too.

I like to know how people really feel.

Every member has a right to express their opinion. You should stay. Afterall there is an Ignore button for those who dont like your opinion.

I am glad you are one of the members who is happy that members have a right to say their opinions and state many facts.

I do go over the top and many do get annoyed, but I try to stay as polite as I can, But I get mad when I see members saying really, really nasty comments about these three girls.

There are Jo O'Meara fans who still like her.

Jade Goody has many fans still & so does Danielle Lloyd.

Anyway, I won't go on too much, but thanks anyway.

Some members would find it easier to get rid of a member who is stating so many facts and opinions and going into things in such depth.

It is right that many won't agree and that is what debating on a forum is all about.

But I have felt betrayed when I've asked for help and divisions have formed and a bullying mob is trying to re-create what happened in CBB Jan.

Nodisharmony, you will ALWAYS have the right to defend your opinions, I don't think anyone has questioned that. All people have questioned is your opinion, but this is what causes healthy discussion.

However, sometimes ALL you post about is Jade, Jo and Danielle - even in the wrong sections and sometimes people get annoyed.

Ultimately you shouldn't leave but just cos people disagree with your opinion doesn't mean they're against you.

I agree with you, that this is not BB. and like I said, this voting of a forum member out of the thisisbigbrotherforum house is certainly a new experience.

But I have just created it.

I actually want to stay and also debate, but also experience circumstances where there is NOT, one rule for one and another rule for another. and complaining about it, either on the forum or in UTU's has been a pointless situation.

What happened in CBB Jan was three girls against one girl.

What is happening here is the same thing, but under different circumstances.

It is like, I'm Shilpa & a mob of members are like Jade, Jo & Danielle are bullying me.

This is exactly the re-creation of CBB Jan. I come over as patronising and just like Jade, Jo & Danielle, forum members didn't like it, as I am stating many truths and doing much homework on available evidence, but, at the same time, having a plausable answer for every question thrown at me.

and nobody likes a clever-dick, do they?

But it is still a debate and that is what I always do.

"Might" being the word. A bit like when you said that when you got to a thousand posts you would reveal a shocking truth about yourself. A thousnd posts came and went and you refused to reval this shocking truth. A totally baseless offer like this one.

This post shows your need to be loved by people and crave attention. Using your 20/5 vote ratio shows that you would see the 5 votes as a success dispite the fact that 80% voted against you. In most walk of life that would be seen as a failure. But not in your world. With the standard you have set a 20% pass rate is a win. You can't fail. Even if you did the word "might" pops up again. You are even thanking people for their support when thay are saying they are not voting?

A pointless vote really. And one that I won't be joining in with and giving it some validity.

The problem is that when you go over the top you help to make the other posters comments more and more extreme. It is made worse that many threads go over the stuff again and again. At least one member has said they won't post while all this is going on and I know other are frustrated by it all.

My views of these girls is getting worse day by day, post by post and it is a reaction to what I see posted here. I'm just bored by the whole thing and it's making my views more extreme. I just want them to go into a media black hole and never to come out again. I didn't feel like this after the show. I didn't really care to much what happened to them but I do now.

Defending them without acknowledging that they might have made mistakes and they are innocent of everything will just get peoples backs up. Yes you, like every member, has the right to have an opinion of the house mates but to state it repeatedly is just over the top.I know you want to defend them, fair enough but don't ram it down everyone throats. The board rules about insulting members have been blown to pieces of late because of the threads you and others are involved in.

Why not start a fan club thread for them or something where you can talk to like minded members. That way you won't need to get mad and we can all get on with having fun.

There is no need for anyone to leave or be voted out.

However, I agree that sometimes nodis encourages disagreement by choosing certain points to reply to, whilst ignoring others.

I placed this in the "serious debate's" section, as I felt that it is a serious issue to me and many forum members are getting unhappy and this topic is unlikely for arguments to take place, I hope not:sad:

I do defend my opinions and also state facts which I know.

There are many sides to address with this furore and I certainly do that in a dramatic and thorough fashion

I have brought up Jade, Jo and Danielle in the wrong sections, which is quite easy to do, when you find that the Newspaper headline says:- "Jo blows lid on Jade: race row".

The names "Shilpa", "Danielle" & even "Endemol" are bound to come up in conversation and it is hard to debate exactly on topic all the time, especially when there are other members changing it or even start a bit of pointless chit-chat amongst the serious debates.

This is very hard to do and I certainly can't take all the blame.

I also agree that, just because certain members don't agree with me, that it doesn't necassarily mean that they're against me.

I understand that, but sadly, there is a small minority who are making a lot of trouble, within many CBB posts + a few others and there is no moderation present to warn off personal attacks on myself. This is why I have to mention this on this topic.

Usually mods and Admins stay impartial and if you press (report) on a defimating comment placed on a forum, that member that made it would be warned and he or she would understand that it is against the rules to do this.

But there seems to be something much more fishy going on. Less of the impartiality and more of the Shilpa large gang against the three girls, labelled, (the three witches) apparently??

I try not to ignore others Lauren, I just have only so much time in the day and I do quite well really and try not to leave anybody out.

If a sensible question comes up and you or someone else doesn't think it is getting answered properly, I shall try and answer it, if you highlight it to me again.

But, when people go on about a now defunct Jadegoody forum and call me a racist and produce nasty screengrabs and other stuff continually and no moderators are doing a thing about it, in fact, they kind of join in and let the two main nasty members do their deadly deed and send UTU's to each other, saying propaganda and the like, it is corruption and conspiracy to me.

Something which I am very against, as I agree with fairness and equality.

You are right about "personal insults" and the only way of stopping this is fairness-within-moderation, which I can't sort out, as it doesn't seem to exist in my case.

If we did that to every post that has been made about the three girls recently then quite a few members would be on one week bans right now, you included. In fact you would have started this thread because you would have got a warning last night for one your posts.

Maybe what we should do is start coming down hard on any personal insults but sometimes that isn't the solution. One thing I do know there is a good chance this thread will become very personal at some stage and be closed.

I know a friend who Admins a site and asked her to look at these personal attacks all over this forum and she couldn't believe how these could be just left there, lying within such recent topics too.

I am not picking on any particular Admin or Moderator.

All I am trying to do, is get things out in the open, without constant arguing and past fall-out's from defunct forums.

I would rather get this sorted, so all of us can get back into a debate, some of which can be very friendly sometimes.

If I see a personal attack on myself, all I want to do is click "report" and a moderator or Admin, remove it, as it has nothing to do with any single topic on these boards at all. and give that member a warning or a threat of a warning.

A ban, whether 24 hour or not, is not usually necassary, if the original blasphemor behaves from that warning on.

I never want to say anything bad to anyone. I actually just want to debate, but two members have a free pass to cause havoc, time & time again and my UTU's get ignored or questioned.

If I did say a personal nasty comment to a member tomorrow, or beyond, I would deserve the warning or the threat of it. But I would like to be treated, no more or no less than anyone else.

That is all..

Please don't lock this topic. Give it a slight chance. Many other members haven't even seen it yet, or had their say.

If an argument breaks out? I certainly won't be joining in and as you are a good moderator, you would sort it out, without locking everything up, which makes it appear to the real troublemakers, that they run the forum, when they actually don't.

You see Nodis I am pretty sure you see me as the enemy but I have to say I'm not.

It is very rare that I allow a member to get to me in any shape or form and bravo you managed to do it. I would however be unhappy for you to feel as if some kind of witch hunt had been launched against you and left because of it.

Your friend who is a MOD on another site has a different interpretation of the rules to mine, Red has a different slant on them to James etc, etc.. we all look at things differently.

When you click report that doesnt mean we jump and remove posts etc.. what it does mean is we review them and see if they are within the limits of what is acceptable to post on this forum. If they are then no action is taken. We look at them from a general point of view not a personal one.

Also like Red I plan now to MOD to the letter so anyone that decides to overstep the mark will be cooling their heels for 24 hours.
