If it were on a normal day maybe but why is being called a liar so much worse than any of the other reasons people gave as nomination reasons? If Jedward had demanded to know why Nicola for example called them sneaky, they would have been shouted down by the whole house and told to stop being so defensive and that it was her reason. I just don't like this one rule for Nicola and one rule for other people in there, that pisses me off

Yes she has every right to ask for an explanation but the only way to get a real explanation, is to ask the person saying it to go off and have a think about it, and then let them know the reason. Pressuring people for an immediate answer makes them flustered and unable to respond, which allows the person to say "Essackly! Essackly! You can't fink of a reason coz u is da liar".

It's trying to make a point, rather than looking for a genuine explanation.
