She was on GMBHD itv
As a Manager
I back her 100%
Was on at 6:09AM and
Live Debate with Nicola 7:40AM etc,
Her Boss Told her she must have on High Heals
she ignored him.
He SACKED HER
She then went to Court
Got Big Cash payed to her.
not sure if that Boss is still at that PWC company?
Nicola said you must
look smart - that is what matters
Look Smart and Clean
whatever sex you are.............
Niamh.

That's great news, i think I heard something about this on the radio this morning Arista. Heels are extremely uncomfortable, I barely wear them when I go out never mind 8 hours a day at work. You can look smart without wearing heels.

It is very good news, men have got away with this nonsence for far too long. Good on her!

If they tried that it would likely have been challenged in Court and won. That sort of sexism has to be quashed.

Maybe this should be insisted upon - likely to see a drastic turnaround from the old chavvy chauvinists then. :hee:

Not because of what she is, I am not a sexist, but because she may get pregnant and take time off.

Yes she will as she is clearly intelligent and presentable. Undoubtedly she will be more picky about the type of sexist companies she works for in the future.
Men can bluster all they like but that out-dated sexist view belongs in a museum and women are less and less inclined to put up with it. They control their own destiny at the end of the day, not men.

It's good that she won.I'm all for uniforms but nobody male or female should be forced to wear uncomfortable uniform which could cause them physical pain.

Maybe the manager should be better at his/her job and come up with some innovative sales ideas rather than resorting to blatant sexism and abusing their power as employers. Bad managers should be replaced.

They should stock Polish Bread like Tesco and i went in yesterday to get coleslaw and they dont stock it.
Most bars know that having fit barmaids = more sales and that FACT will not be changing anytime soon

Most meninists either have mommy issues, relationship issues (more specifically, the lack thereof) or both. I wonder which camp Piers Morgan falls into.

What a brilliant well articulated argument from that young woman, she made excellent points well done her! Piers is nothing but a motormouth nothing he said made any sense whatsoever 'what if I didn't wear a tie' in what universe is that comparable to wearing lipstick?

On this we agree. Piers Morgan making a weak attempt at justifying blatant sexism. What does that say about him?
