I'm not sure who appointed her house mother. It's why her and Kim have clashed so much as Kim came straight in as though it was her house (remember her telling Chloe not to splash her - I'd have said 'it's not your house, luv, if you don't like it, move!).

It's been an endless battle to be 'house mum'. I think the boys play up to their role now just to annoy her because she's even more annoying in return.

The trouble with Nicola is that she is a bully who picks on the weaker character....which is why she is quick to jump on Jedward and Kim.
Looking at the highlights for tonight she does it again...but you see she knows that everyone bar Kim dislike them and their annoying ways likewise she knows Kim isn't popular with the other housemates...so she leads the attack with the confidence that she will get back up if it escalates.
I'm not saying Kim is a weak character...but her weakness is lack of popularity amongst the other housemates.

The Speidi grovel is one of the saddest things this season. Being fair, I did think they were over the top in how hard they went in on her over the Saved Housemate thing (although 100% right about why she did it)... but when she went into the bedroom pleading with them... puke. Awful.
