I don't think we will ever go back to old school so i'm doing this for fun
I can see them copying BBCAN with the international wildcard. they copied Survivor with the battle back, copied Hunger Games with the care packages.

There's no way (unfortunately) Grodner is gonna copy BBCan because that would be like admitting they're a better version of the franchise. Which they are, but as if she'd think that
In an ideal world they would return to casting twists which always worked better, but she is obsessed with competitions so I'm almost certain there'll be some format twist that'll no doubt stifle creative gameplay and enable a majority alliance to steamroll the first half of the season

BB18 wasn't the only BB with twists, we haven't had a old school BB since BB10

New Houseguests but same old crappy personailtes, same old "new" twist that will ruin any game play.
Hopefully like BB10 in terms of diversity in age and race. Less twist... one is not too bad, but the reason BB18 and Can3 suck so bad is the overdoing of lame twists

Yeah but BB18 had Care Packages, round trip, teams, road Kill, a buy back and another Jury return comp..... overkill!

Roadkill was awful

normally I would mind but it's what we going to get these days so i'm just going to enjoy it until it axes.

I actually think the idea behind Roadkill is quite fun, it's just the fact that it involves yet another competition that's the problem
Like, I thought the MVP twist was legitimately quite good...I wouldn't mind if they brought that back again

Roadkill was awful
It will return as a fan favourite, just like Battle of the Block was. altough I did not mind BOB. its how long it ran for in BB16 that ruined it, I didnt mind it in BB17 as it only lasted a few weeks

But the twists ruin what the show was about originally, gameplay.

So you're saying I was right to watch no more than 2 episodes? Good to know :)

I know this'll never happen but I'd like to see an Evil Big Brother take over the US house. They can even change up the ad campaign a bit with it

The twists at the end made a joke of the last season, such as the whole 'everybody gets a ticket to return' thing.
They can't put non-Americans in because of prize money regulations I think. It's a shame because it is the most insular BB.

I thought format wise BB18 actually had a strong season but perhaps through a bit too much at it. The teams thing was a flop, but I liked Roadkill and do like the concept of a third nominee, whether through a viewer vote or comp, just messing with the HoHs plans a bit. With three nominees though would rather see the three cut to two before the eviction vote, either with one saved by the viewers or perhaps the Veto rules being tweaked or a revised Battle of the Block so either the nominees compete to save themselves or the non-nominees compete to save a nominee.
As for the twist this year - all I ask is either make it All Stars or No Stars. I think the time is probably right for a full All Stars once again.

Back to Basics (maybe even no PoV :o)
Or maybe bring back the BB11 cliques twist, that was kinda fun

How is just having two available to be evicted any good? Survivor is better because it allows for way more gameplay. That makes it more unpredictable. Big Brother has to force unpredictablity by producer twists all the time.

They could just go full battle of the shows and take ex-contestants from Survivor, TAR et al. and pit them against BB Houseguests
I know they pretty much do this anyway, but still
Trump takeover
Where old Donald become Big brother.

They might have a secret house. I think it will be an all new cast though.
