View Full Version : A round of applause for Jedward

They've brought the best out of Nicola, as well as bores like Calum and Jamie...and even managed to now get Cosmo to actually speak :cheer2:

Don't get the complaints, would much rather have this storyline for the final week than one of the least interesting showmances of all time interspersed with scenes of the dullard clique back-patting each other for how they're such Good People

I'd rather not :umm2:

I'd rather not :umm2:

So you'd rather a final week where Calum, Jamie and Cosmo continued to do nothing, where Coleen and Bianca joined them to sit around discussing how they're all such Great People, and where Nicola really doesn't get much of a storyline either? Oh and don't forget the world's dullest showmance

Sounds enthralling :conf:

Yup anything minus Jedward would be a bonus

All of a sudden the production team don't seem that bad after all  small mercies and all that

It's that point of the series where you fail to realise your idea of entertainment doesn't apply to everyone else I guess.

It's that point of the series where people fail to realise my posts are my opinion (which don't need qualifying every time) and thus I would obviously believe them to be right...I guess

Is telling people to give them a round of applause an opinion, I'm not sure.

Jack_

Well, yes, because in my opinion (given that it's a post and thread title typed by myself on this internet forum), they should be given a round of applause

Agree totally Jack. Whatever I think of Jedward and the way they live their lives, they have Imo, given some home truths to individuals in there who have deserved it. Just as other folk may think that other HMS can slate Jedward. Nobody in there is perfect or entitled to believe Jedward can't defend themselves. I hope they throw a few more truths in the final judgement.

Whilst I totally abhor Jedward, I have to concede to the OP and agree he is right. It has actually spurned others into action and that is not a bad thing. The problem that lies therein is that the whole house seem to think Jedward were in the wrong and they live there with them so who do we believe. There has to be some truth in the Jedward baiting but as the op said, its not a bad thing if it gets dullards off their arses and earning their fees.

Nicely put. I've never hated Jedward or been a fan, they were just there being Jedward but I have to say I have a lot of respect for them after how they've handled themselves in this series. They have been entertaining and they have acted more like men than Calum and Jamie.

I also read some press from back when they were 19.

Seriously the crap these two have had to put up with over the years defies belief, just for being Jedward.

Jedward and Kim are the saviour of the series. Once Austin was unfairly booted it's so good these newcomers came in to lift the ratings. The house without them would be so dull and in harmony.

Fantastic post again Jack_

If I could give an award for fair, balanced and prompting posts you would get it.

I happily applaud this post and for me it's just a pity someone of your thinking, is not involved in the selection and planning of BB series.

And Jack keep up your briliant posts and you might get my 10 points on Most Loved this year, I am just so enjoying your posts, and not just your Jedward support.

Well, I have really warmed to Jedward because, like Kim, they have always been their own people and not cliquey like some. They are, like Kim telling a few truths about the others and have never resorted to foul language to do so. They are an act and have always stayed true to that, however irritating it is to people. I think they are pretty shrewd and intelligent characters - would like to see them or Kim win
