If they are illegal he is well within his rights. Extreme Muslims as well as they are a clear threat to everyone. America will be safer without them.

It's not just one federal judge who have issued injunctive orders against enforcement of Trump's new Executive Order about those entering the country; it's now two, one in NYC, and another in Virginia. The federal marshalls, on Trump's new Order, are detaining legal residents, with valid "green cards:. https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/social-issues/…
These federal agents are detaining legal residents of the US, without warrants, with no criminal activity committed in the presence of authority, and without any legally sufficient probable cause to detain these travellers against their will(s). These people are being arrested (in law, detained for any reason by authorities, against the will of the detainee, who is not free to go.
That the US Constitution and Bill of Rights is being flagrantly violated, on the orders of the new President, is self-evident and has immediately resulted in the issuance of federal court orders against enforcement of President Trump's new EO.
All you have done here is to show your complete ignorance of everything - very well done and full marks for that.

2016 Global Democracy Index downgrades USA from a full democracy to a flawed regime
The Democracy Index is compiled by the Economist Intelligence Unit based in the United Kingdom and measures the state of democracy in 167 countries across the Globe.
http://jamaica-gleaner.com/article/news/20170128/2016-global-democracy-index-us-joins-jamaica-flawed-list
It grades countries on a scale of zero to 10 using 60 indicators across five different categories to classify them as full democracies, flawed democracies, hybrid regimes or authoritarian regimes.
Jamaica has now been joined by the United States which, for the first time in its history, has been downgraded from a full democracy to a flawed regime in the latest survey.
I wonder how much further down the list they will go with Trump at the helm.

Because sitting back and watching millions of innocent people being barred from entering your country, against not just basic human rights principles but the actual Bill of Rights, and allowing Trump to do so because he's the President and there's nothing anyone can do... yeah that's the true spirit of democracy
ps I see Mike Pence hasn't said much about this for somebody who spoke out strongly against the plan when Trump first announced it

So we let them hold us to ransom with underlying threats. Do we really want people who do that in our countries? Ffs
And how do you know it won't prevent it - the more people who live in the West who share the same religious beliefs as those who hate the West the more westerners will be at risk. How many quietly support the hate for our countries is unknown.

If that were at all true then why aren't you pissed off that a specific religion is being targeted? or angry that legal permanent residents of that country are being detained in violation of their Constitution and pissed off that legal permanent residents of that country are being threatened with deportation even though they have broken no laws?

Jihadist groups on Sunday celebrated the Trump administration’s ban on travel from seven Muslim-majority countries, saying the new policy validates their claim that the United States is at war with Islam.
Comments posted to pro-Islamic State social media accounts predicted that President Trump’s executive order would persuade American Muslims to side with the extremists. One posting hailed the U.S. president as “the best caller to Islam,” while others predicted that Trump would soon launch a new war in the Middle East.
The unintended consequences of bad decisions.

Why is it it so hard for some to comprehend that women in particular have every reason to have issues with religions that treat women like ****e? What has that got to do with race - it has far more to do with culture and mindsets. If they don't give respect why should they get it back? All the over-the-top hysterics and double standards is truly tedious.

Trump has not banned all Muslims. He has picked specific Countries out of the largely Muslim World and ignored several Countries where Trump entities have established business relationships. Therefore if the jihadists wish to recruit, the ban is extremely easy to bypass.

Those countries weren't actually targeted by Trump. It was actually Obama that flagged those countries as being a terror risk.
I do think Trump has gone too far though.I'm all for vetting people from risk countries but the ban has just caused chaos and if people have a green card then by definition they've already been vetted.

It has absolutely jack **** to do with terrorism. I'm not going to pretend to be "in the know" about the actual reasoning and nor do I think it's just "cos dey all r racists", there's clearly much more to it than that, but what I *do* know is that it will have absolutely zero impact on the risk of a major terrorist incident. It's like performing brain surgery with a ****ing sledgehammer. The plotting, scheming and organisation that goes into a major incident is not going to be interrupted by "closing the borders and airports". Not even slightly.

Yes it was and the question is, why wasn't SA on that list?
Like you, I'm all for vetting but this sort of restriction is going to have a huge impact on the workforce that come in and out of America on business visas.
And to send refugees back is to sign their death warrant.

Yeah Trump should stick to cracking down on illegal immigration. The US should be taking refugees from the refugee camps who can be vetted first just like Britain. That be a positive move that more people could get behind. His supporters and detractors could agree on that.
