In Poland they don't take their decs down until 2nd Feb, maybe you have gone multicultural :fan:
but no ours were switched off on 5th Jan.

Nope. Ours were switched on for Christmas Eve and switched off after Boxing Day. :hee:

Ours aren't but a village we drive through regularly is the saddest sight. The lights are still sort of there... Some are on, some off, some half lit up, some missing pieces, some hanging half way off...
Like a christmassy post apocalypse.
I don't have a town, we did have 5 lights in our village (yes 5 :bored:) but they are well gone
