Staircase has been replaced by a straight set, leading directly down onto the stage. Longer walkway for the Housemates to walk across to get to the house. Similar to BB8
Catwalk leads from the eviction studio, for Emma to present
Screens surround the entire area. Entrance to the Other House has been removed, and won't be used at all.

Really nicely designed set, the walls look really nice with the underground line patterns but without the circular stops. Excited to see what the house looks like with this theming.

Posters running down the length of the stairs are for the Housemates, and contain some rules of Big Brother.
Housemates will be given a special card that will grant them access/allow them to leave the House, which is what the barriers are for

The sofas, dining table and kitchen are all inside this one area which would be called the station concourse
The Diary Room entrance is in this area too
The room has been designed to resemble a concourse, with windows looking out onto platforms etc like at a train station. The sofas are leather, and the coffee tables are made from bits of old trains.

You can't see the Diary Room entrance in the photos... you can see a tiny bit of the overall Diary Room "wall" though. The task door leads to the other house which is completely a task space now.

There's a 'warehouse' where you can find loads of objects people have created (chairs, beds etc) but I'm not sure if Jarrod used those or made his own. I know the house structure is Jarrods.

So the structure of the House, the walls, mirrors, lights, textures, outdoor set, layout etc is all mine and I use models from the 3D Warehouse to add the real furniture, often modified though so it fits the theme!

This is incredible. My favourite part is the ticket barriers you need to pass to enter / exit the house. Imagine "Mandy, you have been evicted, please collect your ticket and leave via the eviction line immediately" :love: :love:

Housemates will press the button and will have to wait for the front door to slide open, meaning they can enter the diary room. They will walk down a short corridor until they get to the room
The chair is designed to be the inside of a tube train. The background will be moving throughout, simulating travel through a tunnel.

Thanks for your kind comments, Brekkie! Diary Room would be located at the end of the "train" - the front door slides open, housemates walk down the length of the tube train which acts as a corridor. They can get into the Diary Room via a door at the end of the corridor!

I agree, the garden could use a bit more "industry" as a theme I think. The pool as a platform could be a really cool feature. If I return to this house to make a CBB version, I'll consider that as a possibility!

Celebrity Big Brother would return to its original January slot, no summer edition, meaning the house would undergo bigger transformations.

Exterior:
Nothing really changes with the outside set - just new graphics to say Celebrity Big Brother in place of civilian.

Ticket gates that were in place for the summer series would be removed, so the stairs now lead directly down into the living area.

Living Area and Lounge
Round dining table has been removed and replaced with a new longer table, with new stone wall coverings. Station theme still remains in places, sofas have not changed at all, added light fixtures. Kitchen is a new kitchen and is still rather small.

The area has been extended with the colder weather, meaning more inside space for the celebrities. Diary Room hasn't altered, still a tube train. Wall of cubes has been replaced with a plant wall and a new snug seating area installed near the bathroom.

Garden:
Garden has had the biggest of all changes. Patio doors now resemble the outside of a station building, less grass space and a new covered seating area to resemble a platform. Pool has been removed.

Loving the original even more the second time around and the tweaked Celeb version is just the cherry on the top. The whole thing shows with a bit more imagination they could have done so much more with Elstree. To be fair I think one thing C5 did largely get right was the house but rewatching the BB3 ep last week it was a reminder of how the height of the space being opened up really made it feel much more open plan. I know in BB4 they lowered it to make it cosier, then again in BB5 to make it more claustrophobic, but from a viewers point of view the more open and spacious the house looked the better it looked.
