The pledge debate
on SkyNews and SkyNewsHD
the last 15mins debate.

The Fella on the Panel (a Former BBC CEO)
said maybe just for Hull.........

But if you opt out on some info
on it , then some on the panel
would have it.

Also a better Name
for "some" on this Forum .... Citizen Card

If it could help with security and prevent scrounging I'm all for it.

Yes
but I think on the card
opt out options should be on it.
Plus it should be Free
that way everyone can have one

Paid for by Tax

It should be compulsory for security. Opt in/out will make the whole thing pointless.

The pathetic New Labour one failed
as you had to pay for it.

Making it Free of Charge
makes sense, those who do not get one
we could go door to door
with a Hi tech case
that prints it.
And 2 Armed Guards
to protect the Hi Tec case.

that's Fair is it not LT and TS,

How many times do we have to produce a form of photo ID? I'm forever producing my driving licence so for everyone to have photo ID would make sense. I can't think of an argument against it.

Precisely. I really think it's time we had ID cards which should be produced when you use the NHS or try to claim benefits etc etc etc. It was a really backward step of the Coalition Government to scrap it when Labour introduced it. Nobody was forced to have one and it could be used as a passport in the EU. I actually opted for one and used to go to Spain. The thing is though with so much benefit fraud and NHS tourism from overseas visitors we need something official or there will be no money left!

I completely agree with that.
