Popstars: Supergroups

[Strictly Jake]

This is a brand new game

Imagine that popstars is being brought back but this time they are looking to form a supergroup after seeing the success of little mix and one direction

There will be 4 judges

The format will work very much the same as X factor only the 4 judges will be forming the supergroups to go through to the live shows. So if you are a judge you will have to form 3 supergroups each to compete for the votes. There will not be themed weeks so each week you can pick songs you think would be perfect for your groups. This forum will vote each week for who they want to stay!

I'm hoping the 3 judges to join me will be Nicky91, Owoaje1993 and Amy Jade or Professor smooth but if anyone else is interested your more than welcome. This will be kicking off very soon so have a think about what supergroups you would want you also need to come up with band names for your groups

Katy: there wasn't a bad thing about that, all our groups have been amazing but it's now time for your votes! Soon all of our mentors will be giving their feedback as well as their scores out of 10

Nicki: that's right and these scores are very important as this will create our leaderboard, and whoever makes it to the top will be immune but whoever is at the bottom will automatically be in the bottom three and will have to sing again! And it's a double elimination

My feedback

Rock & kickz: I'm a huge paramore fan, and that was a risky song as it could be hard putting your own stamp on it but that was really really good and I loved it what a great start I have to give that a 10/10

African wonders: Adele is amazing and this song is huge, to turn such an iconic song and turn it on its head and make it so different was very risky, I didn't like it so much, I like you as a group and you have potential but it didn't quite work for me so I have to give that a 6/10

Romeo Touch: boys you performed that with so much confidence you had your choreography down to a tee you have bags of potential I'm giving that a 9/10

International: as a group you are so strong but for me the song just didn't give anything and I didn't enjoy it which is frustrating as I can see what this group is capable of do for me a 5/10

Virtual society: this is one of my favourite groups of the competition this was incredible for me this has to be a 10/10

Beauty school dropout: I absolutely loved this and you look like a perfect girl band I possibly played it a little bit safe with you girls and I will work on a stronger song next week but you performed it brilliantly 9/10

Lovers Karma: obviously you girls are a threat to my girl band and your on a level playing field I thought that was a good song choice but I can't wait to hear you sing something a little slower so we can hear your beautiful voices 9/10

The frontmen: this is a completely different group for the competition it's rare to get a group like this in this type of competition and I absolutely loved it 10/10

BCL: well your our only duo in the competition but your as strong as everyone else I really enjoyed that but I do wonder how versatile you are it will be interesting to see where you progress I'm giving that an 8/10

TheaTrickz: I just love you four and this is from one of my favourite films of all time, I think this was such a relevant song with the new film about to come out, I love love loved this! This a marmite group as not everyone likes musical theatre but I do and I hope you make it right to the end 10/10

Space Troopers: I'm not too keen on this band name I have to be honest, but that was fun and had me dancing it was very strong 10/10

Fresh: really like you three you look good as a group but I wasn't too keen on that song it just didn't really add anything and I found it forgettable so 6/10

Rock & Kickz: not very much a fan of this groups name, however i thought it was a nice performance, i want to be tough on you guys cause i believe you can make it far in the competition so i'm giving a honest but fair 8/10

African Wonders: Hello is such a huge challenge to be knocking it out of the park, but i loved it a lot 9/10

Romeo Touch: love the song choice, however the name is a bit too valentine's day, i really give this a 8/10

International: groups name is a bit too simple, performance wasn't that great either 3/10

Virtual Society: wow wow wow, this name almost got me thinking of a new One Direction, performance was flawless keep up the good work 10/10

Beauty School Dropout: you girls are pretty, but there is also some interesting character coming through in this performance, yeah i liked it 9/10

Lovers Karma: the reason why i picked 4 girls and 1 boy, is simple this Boy is popular with his 4 girlfriends, and the actual performance was energetic, fiery and full of lovely dance moves 10/10

The Frontmen: i love a bit of rock, this was a good performance, not the best from this week i'm afraid 8/10

BCL: sometimes you only need 3 letters to make a supergroup, i give it 3 F's, Flawless Final-Worthy Fiery performance :clap1:

TheaTrickz: a bit too cringey for me personally, however if you like cringe and cheese, then it's a match made in heaven 7/10

Space Troopers: Jai Ho, love the dance in this performance, everyone was in sync with each other, vocally it sounded great, the name is coming from one of my favourite movies Starship Troopers 9/10

Fresh: simple name, but the performance was dull and forgettable, really a big disappointment to me 2/10

Rock&Kickz:Ladies Ladies Ladies the reason why I wanted to make a poprock girlgroup is because I wanted you ladies to stand out from any other girlgroup the competition and you ladies so did that was off the chain and great way to kick off the show 9/10

African Wonders:Ammmmm I'm gonna be real I like you guys I think there is something special about you guys however I don't think that this song choice did you guys justice if I'm being real and I do feel that you will struggle as a pop group:4/10

Romeo Touch:Well guys nice job but if I'm being real I felt the song was too cliche and some of you guys struggled a bit it was good but I think you lads need to come back stronger and with a better song but you done a good job 7/10

International:I would definitely be sorry after that performance fellas that was just a complete car crash I have doubts seeing you four lads further on in the competition I'm just being real 2/10

Virtual Society:Guys you lads all totally killed it by far the dark horses of the competition and if I'm being honest it was kind of like battle of the Boybands tonight between you guys and Romeo Touch you guys were better 10/10

Beauty school dropout:Ladies Ladies Ladies the positive is that you all sounded beautiful together and I love the song if I'm being real Macy Kate your the star of the group the Beyoncé of BSD the negative the only negative thing I'm gonna say is I think you girls should stand out as a group a bit more and don't try to be like fifth harmoney you should be unique other than that superb performance 10/10

Loverz Karma:I'm sorry but either karma is coming for you guys after that or Karma is after me what the hell did I just watch just no no no 3/10

The frontmen:This is different did I enjoy it hell yes I see potential in you lads and I hope the public get behind you three great job 8/10

BCL:Now that was superb and you two sounded like some next sweet music together and I'm gonna make sure next week you two will do something different and cool just to show the judges how versatile you both are 9/10

TheatrickZ:If I'm being real when I found out about this group I was like oh please something I will hate and gonna be awful and really corny but you know what I loved every moment of that you sounded excellent brillionto 10/10

Nicki: all our groups were amazing tonight and the lines will be open later after our mentors have given their feedback and the leaderboard has been created. In our live results show we have 3 incredible acts

Katy: that's right! The best supergroup around at the moment little mix will be performing their song Touch! Rag n Bone man will be performing his song human and I myself will be performing my new song chained to the rhythm

Fresh: this was so much better than last week I think you really came together as a group you put your own stamp on the song and you showed yourselves to be extremely current and relevant and lived up to your name of fresh I really loved it, just one critique is that Brooklyn your slightly being outshined by Charlie and Lydia so I would love you to take the lead vocals next time 9/10!

Beauty school dropout: well done girls I gave you a more powerhouse song something you could put real passion and anger in to, I have worked with Cher Lloyd in the past and I think she would have loved that, I definitely will be giving you a ballad next week to show off your stunning vocals but that was great 9/10

BCL: I have to be honest I thought it was weak I didn't find it at all relevant it wouldn't work in today's music world and it fell flat for me sorry 3/10

Lovers Karma: I really enjoyed it it's one of my favourite songs actually but for some reason I still find you girls quite forgettable you really need to fight for your place as their are two other girl groups in this competition but nice job 7/10

Romeo Touch: that song is very new and you boys only learnt it this week but you couldn't tell it was really strong and it was as if the song was made for you lads I think your going to have a huge fan base so I need them all to vote 10/10

The frontmen: I am a big fan I love that it's a completely different genre to everyone else and it really brought a hard edge to the show it was amazing 10/10

Space Troopers: I completely hated it I thought it was the wrong kind of cheesy I could tell you were embarrassed I think it might be a time to call it a day on this group 2/10

Rock & Kickz: I'm obsessed with this group it was another solid performance and I really want you girls in the final 10/10

TheaTrickz: wow I had goosebumps the vocals were out of this world and it was so spooky I loved it. Not everyone is going to get this group and I think you may get harsher feedback this week but for those that do understand what this group is about please get voting 10/10

Virtual society: ok that was a risk as it's a song by my one of the members of Romeo Touch the talented Alex aiono and I know he wasn't keen on you singing it but I thought it was pretty good actually. If you keep on this strong I predict you may just win the whole show 9/10

TheatrickZ:Positive note it sounded good negative is that it was wayyy too cliche and I just don't see this group in the charts selling records I'm sorry but 4/10

The Frontmen:Gentleman like I said lastweek I think you guys are a novalty group I think you are mixed between a twenty one pilot tribute act mixed with a really bad pop rock band I'm sorry but 1/10

RomeoTouch:I would admit this was actually your best performance but I just think with this group you lads are stuck in the 90s unlike virtual Society who step it up each week youlads just stay in one lane I'm just being real other then that you did sound quite good 7/10

Congrats Beauty School Dropout well deserved as sad for me to say this but this is sadly my last game until around July or August I can honestly say these past couple of months I have enjoyed doing these games but sadly I have other more important commitments I can say it's been a pleasure playing these games with jake and Nicky who have both helped me out with these games I also wish you both best for the future and other people I have spoken to on this site it's been a pleasure and I loved every minute
