POUNDLAND will start selling clothes this week as it launches a full-range of women’s, men’s and kids’ fashion on sale in its stores.

The discount chain Pep & Co will start trading from two outlets tomorrow as Poundland plans to open 50 of the “shop-in-shops” across its stores over the next 100 days.

The store in Kings Heath, Birmingham, will start selling clothes from Friday
And the good news is that 95 per cent of its clothes will cost less than £10, reports the Birmingham Mail.

Pep & Co will launch at outlets in Kings Heath, Birmingham, and the Dudley Poundland on Friday.

It comes after the first Poundland Pep & Co opened earlier this month in nearby Hanley, Staffs.

The chain’s managing director Adrian Mountford told the Mail he believes the new outlet will have a big impact.

Mountford, the former commercial director of Matalan, said: “We might be a new brand, but we’re one that customers love once they find us.

“The combination of Pep & Co’s design and style credentials, with pricing that’s amazing, will help create a brand new option that helps mums on a budget.”

Discount line Pep & Co – which has outlets across the UK – is said to be Britain’s fastest growing fashion phenomenon after launching 50 stores on Britain’s high streets in just 50 days.

The chain is aimed at families and plans to eventually open 900 UK stores.

Bin my town centre there's two pound lands, a 99p store, a pound stretcher and all sorts. It's useless.
