I've mentioned on here before, it makes me really sad when I'm out with one f my friends and his boyfriend (they own a house together, will soon be getting married) and if one is going home early, depending on where we are, they'll only give each other a handshake or a manly back pat as they leave. They're totally different when they're at home together than when they're out. I know that's true for a lot of couples, gay or straight, bu it's... different. It's really obvious to anyone who knows them that they deliberately avoid being affectionate with each other in public, because of reactions they've had in the past. They've never been physically attacked but have had comments and plenty of dirty looks. Surely we should be moving past this by now??
