Mount Pleasant is going to end after a final special, it has been announced.
The Sky1 comedy drama, which has so far run for six seasons since 2011, is currently filming the 90-minute special.
Stars Dan Ryan and Sally Lindsay recorded a special video announcement prior to production where they revealed details of the episode, which will focus on Dan and Lisa's wedding anniversary.
They added at the end: "Sadly, we have to say this is the last Mount Pleasant and we won't be doing any more. And we wanted to say thank you very much for being the most wonderful set of viewers and fans anybody could ever wish for.
"For staying with us for 52 episodes with the highs and the lows and the drama and the fun, and the laughter more than anything. And we couldn't have done it without you.
"We couldn't so thank you for your support over these last seven years now. On behalf of the cast and crew, thank you and goodbye."
