Here are some of the things you can expect...

New design: The forums will be getting a new lick of paint and our current emoji (including fan favourite cat-dog Cat) will be retired and replaced with new models. You will also finally be able to embed certain media and social posts, such as YouTube videos.
Search: We'll be gaining an advanced search on the forums, too. You will once again be able to search through users, posts and threads.
Notifications: Any time someone replies to your thread or mentions you, a notification will pop up on your screen.
Reactions: You will be able to react to any post: like, dislike, laugh... maybe even cry if you're in the Politics forum?
Draft posts save: All posts created will now periodically save as a draft, so there is no more risk of losing long posts.
Time-out time: The new forum has a points-based warning system which means a temporary time-out rather than permanent bans for smaller offences.
Ban amnesty: In 16 years, we have amassed over 16,000 banned accounts. Starting now, we are going to be reviewing anyone who chooses to appeal their ban again. Those wishing to appeal should email forum@digitalspy.co.uk with the title 'Ban Amnesty'. Be sure to include your forum username when messaging!

A ****ing mess at 16,000 banned accounts

Any figure for TiBB? My guess would be somewhere around 4,317

In terms of actual members? I'm guessing not many but we do have a lot of spambot bans.

I preferred the older look before the one that they're now rebranding.

On a seperate note it's ashame how Forums are having to change themselves to try and keep up with Social Media which I just can't get into personally.

I think we have nearly 3600 banned accounts in total but that includes all spambots and multi accounts (as does DS' 16000 figure I'd expect)

I checked there and there's exactly 4800 banned accounts. Mostly spammers.

I use DS as a forum for WWE Wrestling Discussion. And occasional Chase discussion.

More people use DS than TiBB so that ban figure isn't really surprising.

DS is good for some discussion but I've kinda lost interest in it. I rarely even read their forums as much as I used to.

Remember the awful karma buttons on here?

I used to minus supernoodles all the time for being a little bitch. :hee:

I was one of the accounts in the ban amnesty. :hee:

It's actually dull now though?
The last time I was active on there in 2014 there was all kinds of discussion, it's practically dead these days.
