View Full Version : Would you meet someone you talk to online.
My partner and i have been together now for 8 years..so she tells me.
We actually started talking on the old c4 bb forum and decided to meet up after a year of chit chat...never looked back and i feel like ive known her all my life now.
Both been through a lot together and i was welcomed with open arms by her old school east end of london family..i think i am lucky......
So any stories about this subject?

I'd meet the likes of Shaun, Caitlin and a few others since I've known them for years and know that there's no chance of them being cannibals.

I love stories like that :clap1:
I'd meet people who I'd been talking to for a while and felt like I trusted enough, so there are a few people on here who I'd feel comfortable meeting.

Yeah I actually met someone who I knew for a while from playing video games with online because he was traveling in the area. But I was also with 2 of my friends that also knew him about as much as I did. It was a one time thing and we just chilled for like a few hours. It was a pretty interesting experience though. I remember one of my friends was really sketched out that he was going to kill us or something but idk why. :joker: I think it's just as likely that some random person on the street kills you than someone you become friends with online.

I would meet up with someone, but only after I'd talked with them for a good while. I'd never reveal where I lived and would meet in a public place the first time. What really scares me is the amount of single mothers who meet someone online and move that person in with them and their kids, before they have really got to know what they are like.

Yeah I'd love to meet people from tibb, if there was like a big tibb meet up I'd definitely go (somewhere public with easy to access escape routes though obvs). Jks, online people are generally just the same as offline people  so it's not something I think there'd be any need to worry about.

He's 12, he'll be going for his black belt in September. He's been doing it since he was around 7. What belts are your niece and nephew?

A wee flywieght i bet.
It is great seeing them enjoy it..unfortunatly uncle arbuckle lives 500 miles away so doesnt get the chance to watch.
I do know however that the niece can beat up the nephew...and often does. Cracking lad just takes it like a man.
