I'd forgotten how nasty and classless Grace was until I watched this clip. She reckoned she was a 'Sloane Ranger' type, but just because your parents have money doesn't make you classy. I felt so sorry for the way she and some of the others treated Shabaz and Sam.

Grace was the mega-bitch of BB. As entertaining as she was at times, it was kinda scary to see someone be so two-faced. Also her delusional behaviour where she genuinely thought she was one of the nicer/real people of the house was laughable. Nonetheless, iconic season.

It's still funny looking back at how vilified Grace was at the time when she's pretty tame by today's standards (although I guess that could be said for almost every other C4 villain). Even Bea was more vicious and that was only a few years later.

I probably would have agreed with you before I watched this video, but there's no way some of the things she said back then would have been accepted in modern-BB (same for Nikki). I understand the Bea comparison, but I think Bea was more aware of what she was doing than Grace—it's bizarre that Grace would act the way she did and expect others to be vilified.

Yeah there's no way Grace/Nikki would get away with what they said now (or even from BB8 onwards really). They'd have constant warnings ala Helen Wood today.

I didn't say her behaviour would be seen as acceptable with today's audience, of course not. She's really lucky she wasn't in BB8, otherwise she would've been thrown out for some of her comments.

My original point was in regards to how she's tame in comparison to some of the C5 villains we get today. Compare her to the likes of Conor, Helen, or even Caroline and she's nowhere in the same league, imo anyway. Also worth mentioning that the people I mentioned all lasted longer than Grace, two of which even walked out with money. Her behaviour would garner Ofcom complaints and she'd get a ton of warnings as a result but that wouldn't be surprising given how oversensitive viewers have become.

I'd personally say she's still up there with those people, she's just not as hostile because most of what she said was behind people's backs. Caroline was just a tamer, albeit erratic version of Grace anyway.
