In case you missed it: Adele (aka Queen of the Universe) is embarking upon her long-awaited world tour for 25 currently. If you managed to get tickets, you're probably hated by 90% of your mates - but the singer has made some changes to her show.

The new tour kicked off in Australia this week, and on stage Adele told the crowd that while the concerts had been meant to include a fireworks display, she's getting rid.

"We've been rehearsing here and up until last night we had fireworks for you," she said.

"Obviously everyone likes a fireworks display. However, my son was watching in the crowd . . . there wasn't much of a crowd, there was like five people.

"A bit of debris - it wasn't big - but a bit of **** went in his eye and he was very upset, so I got rid of the fireworks."

Adele's son Angelo turned 4 (yes, really) recently, and while the singer has opened up about her struggle with postnatal depression, it's totally understandable that she's desperate to protect him from harm's way.

She's also been vocal about raising Angelo to respect women.

"My husband and my son, you're the only reason I do it," she said in her Grammy's acceptance speech last month - you know, the one where she dedicated her Best Album award to Beyoncé Gretchen Weiners-style?

Total respect, Adele.

I assume she means the onstage fireworks and pyrotechnics? Bringing your own fireworks has to be illegal surely
