My first proper job was at a dog's kennels aged 16!

Counting cars in a wooden hut by a roadside 10 hours a day for the a roads department. All I had was a radio and a packed lunch. 6 days a week. Summer job.

Shop assistant, aged 15/16
A rather posh stationers.
Potato Factory when I was 15, we used to skip school and go work there and at the end of the week they would give us a brown paper pay packet, good times. :hee:

Picking Strawberries when I was 15, I only lasted half a day though. 5:30am start wasn't for me.
First job I didnt quit after a couple of hours was in Dunnes Stores (supermarket) when I was 16

I volunteered at a charity shop for a few years. I sold confectionery when I was around 13 but I don't really count that.

Other than babysitting....I worked in a petrol station when I was 16.

I didn't get a job until I was 20 </3.
That was unpaid work as well, I had to do it because of the benefits I was on. It was at Savers. I got treated ****ing appallingly considering I was doing 40 hour weeks.

I worked in a ice cream parlour that also did waffles,coffee and crepes. I was the only male working there lol but that was perfect since i get on with girls more.

My first job is my current job. I'm the only male carer were I work which is alright as I get on fine with girls aswell.

17 in my mate's Mum's milkshake/coffee shop. Was great!
Stacking chopped down trees for a woodcutter..still shiver at the thought of the wood wasps.

Waiter/barman, I was ok at the bar work but I'm really clumsy so I was always dropping plates and spilling drinks when I waited :laugh:

Worked for the local council for a fortnight or so, when I was 16, putting exam results into the local systems/database/whatever. Was a doss and finished most days before 3pm.
