I swear one person guessed that we were either German or Finnish. Remote spyware has been used for some time on both our phones and our cars. Leave your mobile at home but if someone wants to they can keep a log of everywhere your car goes and when. It's tied into the camera's at traffic lights and has facial recognition... we all are essentially under surveillance all the time.

Hiding microphones in our TV is something new. Not that they are going to be monitoring everyone (that would be impossible) but they can remotely turn on the microphone whenever they want, even when your TV is switched off and unplugged.

In big cities maybe. I can't see this being true around here; given the fact that I have personally been told "nudge nudge wink wink don't tell anyone!" by the police that 80% of the actual obvious CCTV cameras and traffic speed cameras haven't worked for years.

Its turned on for Skype calls
from around the World.
