Yeah, maybe just have a revolving social group featured in the sidebar or show the last couple of active ones.

I had all this on my forum but nobody used it.
James codes tons, you just don't see a lot of it
I still think we should have another one
I still think we should have another one
So you think it would be a good idea for James to give someone we don't know or hardly know access to the forum code, admin controls including all members personal data and email addresses etc, and take that sort of risk just to make the forum look prettier, yeah I don't think that's a really great idea myself
Social groups, go to the group youre a member of scroll down to group tools and choose subscribe to this group, you can chose to get daily or weekly email notification or no email notification and it then shows up in your cpanel, not a pop up notification but lets you know when the groups have been posted in.

ABOLISH the swearing filter or at least make it optional.
This, if people can't handle a few expletives they really shouldn't be on this forum. Especially when the forum centres around a show in which a swear word is aired about once a minute.
On the other hand I don't see why people feel the need to swear to get their point across, it doesn't make their opinion more valid  and a sentence with a ton of swear words just makes me feel as if the person is getting overly angry tbh.

Of course we would have to have trust and knowledge in the person before making them admin, that's how you became one- don't try and twist my words. I didn't say 'let's do it straight away!!1'

But some people sometimes like to use the odd curse to properly get their point across, just make the filter optional for the chicks that can't handle it!

Not twisting your words tom calm down, just trying to show how a lot of suggestions aren't done or added because even though they may sound good to you they just aren't feasible.
Also doubt you will find much coders that join up to a BB forum with enough spare time and dedication to code tibb for free.

oh that did work before but wouldn't it be easier if you were to click a emoji from the side rather than memorizing or keep checking for each code and it would save a lot of time as well.

Obviously using swear words in every post/about five times a post is really excessive and perhaps there could be a repercussion like a warning? But using it every now and again is fine. It's just a form of expressing yourself. Everyone swears, it's normal.

Yes, people have varied opinions on the matter, which is why I think there should be the compromise of making it optional so sensitive chicks can block it if it's too much for them to see someone say "****" every now and then

I'm not bothered either way about the swear filter but that does seem like it could work tbf, the default could be that swear words are filtered but if you want to turn it off on your profile you'd have the option, wouldn't that keep everyone happy (and keep it family friendly for people who are just guests viewing the site/members who don't want to see swearing)?

It is related. Big Brother isn't the only reality show discussed on the forum.
"They swear all the time on BB" is about as relevant as "They sing all the time on X Factor".
Not to mention, it's kind of funny because BB comes with a lot more warnings and bleeped swear words than it ever did years ago so your point has flaws.

Exactly, I'm not saying I want to go round calling people ***** but it just seems a bit weird for this website to filter out swear words. But there we go.
