I tried this out thinking it wasn't gonna work, but the success rate is about 95%, as long as you're not talking fast and say the words clearly.
I 'typed' a very long email to a customer just by speaking into my mic. I copied and pasted from the app into the email addy. Brilliant.

Just click the microphone button on your keyboard? Why do you need an app

my Dad is 84 in June and my Mum died 2 years ago. I was trying to think of ways to help my dad through his grief and I finally persuaded him to buy a laptop as I thought it may open up a whole new world for him. He was a total technophobe but my clever dad has found his way around his computer.. He is completely blind in one eye and losing the sight in his good eye so he has difficulty typing emails, he gave up because it took him too long to see the keys, so this is music to my ears, I did not know about text to speech, I'm about to ring my Dad and tell him this great news, he will now be able to email our family in America. Thank you for posting this, it's made my day and will make a 83 year old troupers day too. xxx
Why would you want to use dictation for TiBB posts like everyone would hear what ye posting
