Obviously the show is filled with great episodes, but what do you think were the best ones?

I really liked the Battle of the Apartment between Joey & Chandler vs Rachel & Monica, The Thanksgiving American Football episode, the Episode where Rachel has two birthday parties, the one where Chandler & Joey & Ross play bamboozled, the one where they no oneīs ready to go to Rossīs gala etc.

The one with two parties is a favourite of mine too.

The one where no one's ready
Even though I hate whining Ross

Maybe the lottery episode but it's an impossible choice

Anything with Phoebe being her bonkers self.

Oh that's EVERY episode. :flutter:

But there's so many.

Out of the non-obvious/big event episodes I really liked The One Where They're Up All Night.

Lisa Kudrow manages to be a comedy genius with just her and a smoke alarm.

A few of the Thanksgiving episodes are really good imo.

The One Where Ross Got High
The One With The Rumour
The One with Rachel's Other Sister (Christina Applegate was brilliant)

When they have a date with oven gloves taped to their hands in the One with the Chicken Pox.

Oh yeah the lottery episode is amazing too. Usually the episodes where all or most of the cast are majorly involved are the best.

The One Where Ross Got High is up there, could literally pick any episode from season 4/5/6 though

Like, oh my God, I've been soooo Americanised as a child, so it stands to reason, like the only sitcom I adore would be an American one.

My favourite lol moment is when Monica say's "ok", like that is sooooo funny.

The Lottery one...the one when Ross finds out about Monica and Chandler seeing them through his new Flat window...and the last one is just brilliant.
Friends was just brilliant...watching the show develop fro 1st episode to last and how they developed their characters...brilliant viewing. Never been a great admirer of American comedy..but Friends just broke the mould.
...and Ross with the spray tan...

Just remembered another good one. The one with the costume party.

With Phoebe and Monica (and Mona) looking smoking in their costumes, Ross coming as Spudnik, Chandler as bunny, Joey as Chandler and Ross & Chanderīs arm wrestling contest.

Meh. Friends was great. 90% of American sitcoms are unfunny trash. Including all current ones. There have been a couple of brilliant British sitcoms... 90% of British sitcoms are unfunny trash. Including all current ones.

This isn't really an Americanisation issue tbh :joker:.

I wonder if Alf watches any American films? Is that allowed?
