Or would it have been awful regardless?
I know Bear's nasty behaviour and awful treatment to Saira put people off but did it put you off the series?

Yeah he was intolerable.
I switched off.
Ricky, Renee, Aubrey etc wouldn't have been has popular without him and so we would have probably had a Marnie Simpson win.
I'd rather he was there and won and we got a series of Renee and Aubrey than them both getting evicted early and Marnie winning idk?

Yes. I think I would have watched longer. As it was, his behaviour disgusted me so much I stopped watching before the halfway mark.

It would've been a mediocre summer series at best tbh. I thought the cast was pretty cheap and trashy (even by C5 CBB standards). Apart from Saira and Sam, I didn't really care for anyone else and Marnie, Chloe, Heavy D and Lewis were all disgusting.

Heavy D was lowkey a scream! ^

Bear's treatment of Saira is one of his least bad crimes. What's actually worse is him having the most insufferable behavior and personality of any housemate ever and that being used to torment people and push them to be unhinged and on their guard around them. SCUM WORST HOUSEMATE bye!
As for the question, yes but it wouldn't be too good of a series anyway. Just a lot easier to watch

Hated the way he treated Saira but apart from that, I think he made it so more entertaining

Nope - he was the most entertaining housemate.
It's like saying would BB6 have been better without Makosi/Derek/Kemal/Science or BB7 without Nikki

Undeniably

It was a weak cast in general.

Yeah I agree , it didn't work but scum made it worse so i turned off and when he won people said they were not watching it again (idk if they kept their word but the winter cbb after that lost viewers, so who knows)

Did Makosi, Derek, Kemal, Science and Nikki actively bully people just so they could be 'entertaining' :)
i mean i guess science did but he still got brought down a peg plenty of times and usually the people whom he argued with were those just as hostile as him.

This is the best comment on the forum ever
It's the earliest I've ever stopped watching a series. I knew once Saira was evicted what kind of series it was going to be. It turned out worse than I imagined

It's all subjective as to whether you thought Bear was an entertaining housemate or not
Jason.

I mean Bear was the equivalent to Maxwell but even worse so there goes that Makosi/Derek/Kemal analogy

Would have been great without him. An entire cast wasted on reactions to Bears antics.

The big difference between Bear and Maxwell is that Maxwell was forever traumatized from just six simple words

Maxwell at least showed a human side at times and I can actually appreciate his role in a series like BB6 and his fall from grace even if I didn't particularly like him. Oh and he didn't hog the edit.

All of this
I cannot remember one time Bear showed any human side and even if he did, it was always immediately followed by some grotesque gremlin line or action by him right after
Maxxie.

I don't understand how Bear was a bully? I just saw him as a wind up little **** and was a bit of a stirrer but in a hilarous way, it did get boring afer a while but the only actual mean spirited housemates I can recall are Helen wood and Conor mcintyre. Can someone explain how Bear was a bully?

Well since you asked, he deliberately did things to make people upset, he jumped in people's faces without any provocation, he watched nonchalantly and almost grinned as people yelled at him as to how much of a putrid vile scumbag he is, he made Renee explode on herself like 4 times and watched it unfold, he told Marnie to flash her tits in Saira's face and say 'Bet you wish you had this', he did terrible things only to admittedly look for attention from others.
And plus the word bully gets tossed around a lot, but the actual definition fits him better than most that get labelled it.
