The first episode is set on New Years Day, and the rest of the series concentrates on the marriage and Harvey's condition.

Aww.. Harvey had his accident on New Years Eve and they started filming the show on New Years Day. Katie wouldn't allow the film crew in the hospital, and I'm guessing there will be lots of footage of Katie and Peter feeling really anxious and upset :sad:

It would seem the show has been sold to the Americans but it's not going down well with the Critics. With Peter being described as a "giant cheeseball" and Jordan inhered to be a no-talent girl with implants the size of medicine balls who thinks art photos are the ones with her legs closed. The show as a whole was condemned as the most irrelevant reality show ever and viewers urged not to watch it.

Also, there was a comment made, but now deleted, regarding paps hiding cameras in toys. Jordan has sold so many stories about herself and her family to the press that she should be considered fair game. If she's complaining about that then, as far as Im concerned, she needs to get off her high horse and go back to the sewer where she belongs.

2) They split up because they weren't spending as much time together.

This might not be the thread to ask it in but I have a question about Katie, why did she have the medicine balls put in her chest?

She looked stunning before (see picture below) and now her chest looks hideous to me (see a picture a few posts above).

I can see why some people have breast implants but Katie had a good rack on her before all the ops. Having said that each to their own and if she had the first one to make herself feel better then thats fine. There's one thing I've always wondered about Jordan. Why does she wear so much make-up? Remember in the jungle when she had no make-up on? She is a naturally pretty girl. The girl in question certainly had a mind of her own and was studying for a Honors Degree at the time, but she had been reading trashy celebrity magazines since she was in her teens and then there was peer pressure from her sister who had the same thing done at the same age.

It not just Jordan that is to blame it the whole issue of the media and the influence they have over developing minds. Look at the whole size debate. Anyone that wants to be the same size as an 8 year old has problems if you ask me.

I am absoultely sick and tired of hearing the 'I didn't ask to be a role model' argument. Yes she did. She asked for it when she decided that she wanted to be famous for being famous. There are many ways to earn money while not being famous. TEARFUL Kate Price was last night keeping a vigil at the hospital bedside of husband Peter Andre, who is battling a deadly brain bug.

Peter, 34, is seriously ill with meningitis, which is potentially fatal.

Kate, 28, alias model Jordan, spent a restless night at the singer’s bedside and is praying he will pull through.

She was too upset to talk about her husband’s condition as she left the family’s luxury Surrey home yesterday to return to the hospital after taking a short break.

But friends say the heavily-pregnant glamour girl is frantic with worry.

Meningitis can kill within four hours and its most common form – the bacterial meningococcal group B meningitis, which accounts for 90% of UK cases – can leave patients needing amputation of limbs because it affects the circulation.

Although doctors believe Peter has the rarer and less deadly viral meningitis, experts warned yesterday that it is difficult to be sure because the early
symptoms are so similar.

But even the lesser-strain of the bug can take months to recover from.

A friend of the couple said: “Kate has been out of her mind with worry. Pete has been really, really ill and she’s worried she might lose him.

“He’s eaten so little, he’s just skin and bone. It’s been dreadful for her seeing such a fit man as Pete waste away in front of her eyes without knowing what’s wrong.

“This kind of stress and worry is not good for a woman carrying a baby. It just seems to be one thing after another. She’s had a lot of health worries with her son, Harvey, and now Pete.”

Peter first complained of feeling unwell with what he thought was a stomach bug during his trip to Los Angeles with Kate earlier this month.

He was forced to spend a week in bed after returning to their £2.5million home in Ockley, Surrey. He was unable to eat for more than a week and was so frail he could not stand up.

When his condition worsened, worried Kate dialled 999 and he was taken to East Surrey NHS Hospital in Redhill on Saturday. He was discharged next day, but returned the following night after taking a turn for the worse.

Doctors carried out a series of tests – including brain scans and spinal fluid analysis – to try to find the cause of his problem, but were initially mystified.

At one stage they even thought it may have been a dormant tropical bug he could have picked up during his stint in the Australian jungle for ITV1’s I’m a Celebrity in 2004, where he first met Kate.

However, doctors yesterday finally diagnosed that the singer was suffering from viral meningitis. He could have picked it up during his travels over the past month. Before Los Angeles, he had also visited his family in Cyprus.

They do not know how long he will have to remain in hospital – or how long his recovery will take.

A hospital source said: “When he was admitted, Peter was very, very dehydrated. He’s been – and still is – a very poorly man. He’s weak and very frail.”

Kate is due to give birth to her third child in June. She and Peter have a year-old son, Junior, and she has Harvey, four, by footballer Dwight Yorke, 35.

Earlier this year, disabled Harvey had to be treated in hospital after he was scalded in an accident at home.

Peter’s spokesman said yesterday: “It’s believed Peter is suffering from meningitis. We ask people to allow Kate to continue as normal and support Peter and the family during this worrying time.”

The pair, who wed last September, had been filming an ITV documentary, The Next Chapter, which has been put on hold.

But if it is an overblown story, or a lie. Then it is in very poor taste and I don't think many would ever forgive them.

It would seem that he has viral meningitis which isn't life-threatening like bacterial meningitis but it is contagious, so Jordan will have to be careful she doesn't catch it and/or pass it on to the baby. The hospital will no doubt be taking precautions to protect her from it.

Most people make a full recovery within a couple of weeks. So, I'm sure they will be filming again soon Markus.. :thumbs:

I know, I just want to understand the fascination with Celebrity lifestyles. I'm not going to get it if I don't try and watch these things and try and understand. There must be something in I'm missing. Just don't know what it is yet.

I know it is very common for people to want to be Celebrities these days, hence the number of people that turn up to do Big Brother for instant fame, but why would you want to live in the press? Everything you say and do is reported, be it good or bad. You can't even trust your partner in case you split up and they spill the beans about you and ruin your career.

May be, but I can think of a lot of famous people that manage their lives without being in the press all the time. There are loads of British actors for example that don't live in the press and keep there majority of there private lives private. So it can be done.

That and the ones that are cleverer and have more talent and don't just live off there fame so don't need the coverage to remain a celebrity. They can do it without publicly mangers and public relations companies. They simple don't need the press in the same way.

One thing I will say for Jordan is she didn't have some talent as a model before she started the celebrity lifestyle, unlike some of the America celebrities.

Because people enjoy them I guess, and while people continue to do enjoy them they should continue to do them if they want to. I think most of us would think it's an odd thing to do but they must get paid for it and look at this way if your going to have the press in your life day and night you might as well get some money out of it.

Hiya I am here thank you to Mark for telling me about this thread. I am so glad there are other Katie lovers out there who watch her show. I think her show is so great :bigsmile: and shows how genuine this girl really is. She is a great mum to Harvey with his disability and copes very well. I dont believe any of the nasty rumours that Katie's heavy drinking while pregnant with Harvey caused his disability that is just lies!. I believe this disability was just caused naturally. Katie is also a great mum to Junior too. And once her third child comes along she will be a great mum to that one too. Katie and Peter are the most genuine couple ever I think. And they dont care what anyone else thinks about them. I watch her show every week and really enjoy it alot. I hope this show continues to show on tv for a while yet.

I really loved tonights episode of Katie and Peter :bigsmile:. I thought Peter was so good with Harvey even though Harvey was crying his eyes out in that food shop. Peter is a great dad to Harvey considering hes not Harvey's real dad.

I thought Peter wearing that pregnancy kit was very funny to watch too lol :bigsmile:. Katie was really enjoying seeing Peter know what its like to be pregnant.

I thought the helicopter lessons they both had were great to watch. I didnt think Katie would of been allowed to fly a helicopter considering she is pregnant.

Overall a very good episode this week. I cant wait for next weeks when they show them touring America advertising their reality tv show :bigsmile:.

I actually watched it last night, and I must say, it is good to be down to earth, but some of the things they say or do I don't want to see. Some things are private. There was farting in the bath and Pete had his head in Katies' lap stating she had a stinky pussy and she told him he needed to wash his thing if he wanted a blowie etc. Too much info thanks. God knows I am no prude and very open minded, but even I would not do those things on TV.

Barry glad your getting into Katie and Peter's show. Its really great I think and it shows that their just a normal, genuine couple in love. There nothing fake about them two. There may be some rude bits but thats how they are. I think its funny to watch to be honest with you. I really enjoyed last nights show I stayed up alte to watch the repeat as in couldnt watch it on the thursday night when its on as I was watching wrestling. I thought Peter getting Katie name tattooed on his wedding finger just proved how much he loved her and Katie was so pleased he did it too :bigsmile:. I love them both bless them :bigsmile:.

I watched Katie and Peter show it was good and sad how they showed it and showed how Katie was struggling to cope because Peter was in hospital most of the time. I really felt sorry for Katie as she looked so tired and run down doing everything looking after the kids, working, cleaning the house, going food shopping. She really let out all her feelings on camera on her own in different parts of the programme. At the end they showed Peter coming out of hospital he still looked a bit rough but he was alot better than when he went into hospital. I hope Peter is better now.

Yeah I forgot to mention that also in my last post. Katie was also feeling ill and she didnt have anyone to comfort her. Poor Katie! :(. I hope it was anything serious. Did anyone watch Katie and Peter yesterday it was the last episode in the series. It showed them at home after Peter had come out of hospital. It was so sweet to watch.

Theres going to be a episode out on July 5th at 9pm on ITV2 which shows Katie weeks before giving birth. And also there this Katie and Peter birthing diaries showing on ITV2 soon too.

So she is due around the 25th June then???. She is having a girl too isnt she as Katie and Peter were in Ok Magazine this week saying she is having a girl. Aww she can finally dress her daughter up in pink now as thst her favourite colour. She obviously couldnt do it with her two boys. She wants more children too. She wants 6 kids in total. Who has been watching Katie and Peter the baby diaries???. I watched it this Thursday just gone and it was so good! :bigsmile:. Katie looks so big in her final weeks of being pregnant. And bless her being scared of needles I know how she feels I hate needles too. And what did you think about her ex nanny lying about going abroad and then being found out with that paperwork in her house Katie rented out to her. Katie so told her over the phone that she fired and to get out of her house. Well done Katie. Even though I thought it was cruel that nanny was in the wrong to lie to her about where she was really going as Katie missed out on alot of work and earning money because of the nanny going away and not coming back on time when she should of done.

I enjoyed watching the last episode of Katie and Peter the baby diaries. Even though we didnt get to see Katie properly at the end we got to see her a bit when she came back from giving birth and she looked so happy with her baby. I cant wait to see the next series which is going to start in the autermn. Katie and Peter have named their daughter after their mums name she is called Princess Tiiaami. Isnt that sweet :bigsmile:. I love watching Katie and Peter's show so much and I cant wait for the next one.
