What's your opinion on dogs sleeping on beds?.

I have one dog that sleeps on the sofa downstairs because he's not fussed about sleeping upstairs and one dog that sleeps in my bed. This is only a recent thing (the past month or so) as before that they both slept on the utility room.

I enjoy my dog being there but some people seem to have a problem with it. I don't see the issue as long as you find it pleasant.

My dog sleeps on my mums bed. I don't see an issue with it and would let him sleep on my bed if he was smaller/I had a double.

lol sheriff we had a Cavalier who was so laid back he was horizontal, and yes he could snore like a man, it's to do with their breeding (the flat nose) but I would give anything to have that little fella back, such beautiful dogs. and yes our dog sleeps on the bed sometimes .

I'm fine with it, except if they have bad breath. My dog (sadly gone to doggie heaven now) used to start off at the bottom of my bed, but I always woke up nose to nose with him and he had awful morning breath!! :)

They are both girls and so loving, but after 3 nights of no sleep I was ready to sleep on the floor.
O said they can come on the bed for cuddles and affection but I would get them a lovely bed for them on the floor.

The dog and the cat sleep downstairs, the dog doesn't come upstairs at all really, the cat comes up in the morning at the weekend and meows like a baby to get in and usually joins us in bed for a while. When the cat was a kitten he slept with us for a bit but we had to put a stop to that when he got bigger because he'd end up walking across your face in the middle of the night or he'd start to go mental in the early hours flying around the room

I don't have a dog but my cat sleeps on my bed when he feels like it. We share it half and half... he gets the middle and I get the two outside edges.

If you invite a dog into your home he becomes part of the family. He should be allowed up on the sofa. R.

People don't seem to train their dogs anymore and dogs are becoming really annoying, like spoiled children. My dog does what she's told :hee:

Shockingly this has changed in the past 10 days.

Percy (the dog that slept on my bed) now sleeps in my mam's bed because she likes his company when my dad gets up for work at 4am. My other dog (Stanley) who didn't like coming up before has suddenly decided to bed down in my bed and incredibly has no spacial awareness so I have my legs hanging off the bed at this very moment in time!

We had a cavalier king Charles he was the most placid of dogs and he was glued to me. I.'ve tears in my eyes as I type this he is so missed. I have a bichon now and he's a wonderful character. We dont mind our fur kids sleeping in our bed.

our dog sleeps in the bedroom with us but he has his own bed. usually joins us about 6am and we wouldn't mind if he joined us for the night but he likes his own space.

I've never owned a dog but we're looking after a greyhound for a week and she's honestly just too cute not to let on the bed

I'm a soft touch when it comes to animals though.
