When you put someone on ignore on here you can still see that they have posted. Is there are way to alter that so you can't even see that they ever post? Or better still stop them seeing what i post?
(A little like twitter where you can see everything but the person you wish to ignore)

Quicker fix would be to grow up and get on with it.

There's a plug-in for Firefox (I don't know if that's what you use, but I assume there're varieties for other browsers) that removes the message that says "such and such is on your ignore list" and you can't see that at all. Obviously you can't remove them from the forum completely, their name would still come up as, say, if they created the thread (you wouldn't see the OP at all though), or were the last person to post, or Who's Online, etc.
The problem is I can't for the life of me remember what it's called because I've got so many old plug-ins :joker:
Took me 5 minutes to go through my tabs but it's an option on a plug-in called Greasemonkey - if you install that and then download the other plug-in that's a part of it, called "vBulletin - full ignore".
Can't help with where to find it, how to install etc. bc like I said it was so long ago

Stop reading their posts!.
Moved this to the Suggestions Forum...
Basically what Shaun said although iirc some were saying a while back that it doesn't work any more, I don't use it so members that do would need to confirm this.
Honestly though I don't know why it's so hard to just not read the posts of the member you have on ignore, not aimed specifically at you Amy just in general.

I use my phone (samsung) so I guess that's not an option, thanks for the detailed reply though!

Stop reading their posts!.
I don't. I only have one or two people ignored I was just wondering if there was a way to remove them completely for me.

Sorry I posted in the wrong place and made work for you. I couldn't think where it should go so plumped for general because it covers pretty much everything
I actually don't read posts of people I have on ignore unless it's during a forum game but I think my all round enjoyment of the forum would increase if I could have the option of making someone invisible on here so I can stop them even replying to me for whatever reason.
I was just thinking the ignore list would be quite good if you could make your posts invisible to the person you want to ignore, like a two way ignore list, it's annoying when you get notifications on tapatalk bc the person keeps quoting your posts and trying to communicate with you.

I wish this could be done so much, the forum would be much nicer imo
